Rat Owen!! I’m so incredibly happy with how this came out. Took me actually AGES to find the right yarn (I ended up having to make several compromises because Red Hearts discontinued the color I needed 👎👎👎) BUT he’s done and I am really proud of him.
This whole crochet rats project started last winter when I started rewatching the series again and thought to myself “huh I have most of the colors I would need to make Scott” and here we are. Rats SMP has honestly got me through some of the worst depression in my life I remember watching the YouTube episodes as they came out and at the time they were some of the only things that made me happy. Last winter was really rough too and I feel like watching Owen’s channel again saved me in a way.
i think "it takes a village" shouldn't be just "to raise a child". we should understand it takes a village to do literally everything we do. all day every day. without our communities we would not have drinking water or electricity or clean streets or food or shelter or anything. we cannot do any thing alone. we just can't. and with that comes the fact that you are not alone. you already have a community, seek to be an active part of it, you will feel better. reach out and thank them, they're happy to have you too. i promise. it takes a village to live.
"Isn't it weird that [thing humans commonly eat] is poisonous to literally every domesticated animal" I mean, there's a pretty good chance that [thing humans commonly eat] is at least mildly poisonous to humans, too. One of our quirks as a species is that we think our food is bland if it doesn't have enough poison in it.
do any other artists draw something theyre proud of and get really excited to post the next day and show their followers? like a kid giving their parents something to hang on the fridge
So we all know that Tumblr is US-centric. But to what degree? (and can we skew the results of this poll by posting it at a time where they should be asleep?)
