Just popped this on my personal Facebook but wanted to add this on here to so I'll copy and paste my long message (thoughts, opinions, feelings) Today has been all about killing time in the best way possible as I spent my last day in the states, in New Orleans with me, myself and I. My nails have grown out, I've lost a bronzer and a necklace I loved, all of my clothes are dirty and all of my toenail polish has chipped but I definitely now see what's actually important and what matters. I'm hungry and all the food places at this tiny airport are closed, so I'm resorting to having Reece's Peanut Butter Cups for dinner - things could be worse 😉 I've had the most incredible time on my Eastern Canada & America journey, I've met some amazing people from all walks of life and have built some fantastic connections (you know who you are), I'll never forget anyone and will definitely be seeing some again 💕 I've experienced things I'd never have thought I would experience, done mad things I'd never have thought I'd ever have the balls to do and have really learnt so much about myself and others on this short, but pleasantly sweet journey 💕 I've got so many memories to take from this adventure and have begun to jot them all down in a travel journal that I'm determined to add more travel memories to in the future. 'The plane lifted its nose into the air and the lump returned. This time it was an euphoric, excited feeling and I felt my spirits lifting alongside the plane, I was going places.' ✈️ Booking the trip at 2am one random evening, feeling low, and like I needed to escape turned out to be the best thing I've ever done for myself.
