Feel free to ignore to headcanon dump if you want. You're just the one jessica roleplayer I know so thought you might enjoy these.

There's two routes you can take roger in his hellaverse. Either he's a sinner who didn't really mean to cause any harm while he was living. Just became friends or did business with the people. Causing harm he was oblivious to.

The other option is roger as an imp in hell. Would make moxxie being his fc make even more sense. He'd be a struggling comedian/clown in hell trying to build a name for himself which is even harder considering how imps are treated. Would make the size difference between him and jessica more drastic.

Regardless for either I headcanon he literally runs into her while rushing to head over to one of his shows. Very much into the pun heavy and slapstick style humor which would kinda lead into him being a literal clown.

Just like in his main canon verse his relationship with jessica would be a slow burn. He's not interested in her romantically from the getgo. Atleast not trying to romance her from the start. He has low self esteem and sees her as way out of his league. He offers her friendship but that's all at first. He expects nothing to happen between them romantically but he does start courting her once she shows clear interest.

Roger believes jessica is a classy lady who deserves to be romanced so he's pulling out all the stops for her. Big romantic gestures and dates. He's quite the gentlemen and even if he'll likely lose would fight demons who disrespected her. I see their relationship as quite similar to both moxxie and millie as well as ozzie and fizz. A direct parallel would probably be lucifer and lilith actually.

He had to keep looking up with how tall this woman was. "Oh pardon me ma'am. Sorry to have run into ya like that I was just kinda in a hurry." He tried to explain. Sure he was trying to keep his crush on her a secret but he had very valid reasons for that. That being she would probably only pick on him more if she found taht out. "Oh okay. I think I have an idea." Taking out a box of markers he pulled out a pink one. Drawing a bow on their egg just like the girl's. "I think a good name for them is helga junior." Plus this way they wouldn't lose their egg if this project ever got really hectic. Likely if the two started arguing which he really hoped wouldn't be the case for once.

He was actually looking forward to this. He actually liked the girl quite a bit when she wasn't putting on the whole tough bully act. When helga was nicer he could really call her a friend. At that moment the bell rung. "Oh looks like school over." He commented before offering helga his hand to hold. "Ready to go?"
