Let's celebrate and be glad today.” ℒℰᏆ UЅ ℙℛᎯᎽ. . . 🛐Heavenly Father, together, as the Body of Christ, we celebrate You in praise and prayer, and we do so as one voice, one people, and one church! Upon this new year, the first day of January, two thousand and twenty three days and counting…we commit ourselves unto the LORD and submit our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. We pray to be a generation designed to worship God, designed to praise God, and designed to be completely submitted to the Father’s Will. Together we pray that we can embrace all that the next twelve months have to offer us…the opportunity to love and comfort one another, encourage and exhort one another, and to bless and pray for one another. We honor them for their faithful service to our country, and for what they have done to defend and preserve our freedom. Generation after generation, young men and women have answered our country’s call. And as a result, their lives have been changed forever. We are grateful to all who have served, whether in peacetime or in periods of conflict. But today we especially remember those who have been tempered by fire, those who continue to bear wounds of the body or the spirit as a result of what they endured. They lie in our veterans’ hospitals or struggle for recovery in rehabilitation centers; they suffer from post-traumatic stress and survivor’ guilt; they yearn for peace in their souls. Dear God, we ask You to heal their wounds, to banish whatever inner demons may haunt them, and to give them peace within so they may return fully to their families and to society. They fought on land, at sea, and in the air, always understanding that they may not come back from their mission to their beLoved family and country. You have established prayer that we, Your children, can communicate with our Heavenly Father directing, strengthening, and discipling us in Your everlasting love. We join heaven’s activities as we lift up our prayers and pour out our praise, repentance, thanks, intercession and supplication. LORD, You have established America through the hearts of our founding fathers and the documents they penned declaring our dependence on Your sovereignty and supremacy. We overflow with gratitude having been firmly rooted and built up in our faith in You. Let our reputation be of our faith in Christ alone, our love for all people, and fruitful lives bearing the attitude, affections, and actions of Your Spirit, Who dwells and works within us and through us. We pray for America: the Church, Family, Education, Military, Workplace, Government, Arts, Entertainment and Media. United in Your love, we exalt the LORD who has established us.
