Setting: Not long after embarking on their journey to find a cure, Amaara and Astarion had secured a room at an upscale inn upon arriving in a bustling city. They didn't venture out together much during daylight while in the cities because Astarion HATED wearing the Cloak of Dragomir.

They spent many hours secluded in their plush lodgings. Amaara tirelessly researched anything that might hold answers, while Astarion found other ways to occupy himself.

He read romance novels - part of his covert mission to learn the intricacies of relationships. For someone so well-versed in hedonism, matters of the heart were quite foreign to him.

Yet, to his immense self-satisfaction, he realized their relationship was going very well. He was feeling really smug over his perceived romantic prowess.

I had fun with these. When Brabbles sent me all those wonderful outfit photos and requested me to put Astarion in them, I couldn't help but smile. It's just so nice to see a beloved character spark such creativity in people.

And I'm happy to see that Astarion, ascended or not, is so fiercely loved by all his adoring fans.

As I worked on the commissions for AA X Ban, I thought about my own fan work and my spawn Astarion. My Astarion never got to wear anything too fancy - mostly just the Cloak of Dragomir, his squeaky leather doublet, and his linen shirt. (or naked, yes naked)

I suppose my Amaara hasn't been the most attentive girlfriend, has she?

For this scenario, let's suppose he's able to taste and ingest food even though it has zero nutritional value for him.

You stroll over the market place as you decide to get some yummy to-go food from a stand because it smells divine. You ask Astarion if he wants something too and he'd be like "no thank you, darling."

5 seconds after you hold the deliciously smelling food in your hands and open your mouth to dig in, you'd hear his pleading voice

"Daaarling~? can I have a bite? Just one🥺"

How could you say no?

He happily rams his fangs into the food, rips off the good half of whatever you got like a predator and chews happily with the most innocent expression, looking like a chipmunk that just stuffed its cheeks with acorns.
