“We want South Lebanon to be unassailable, a rock upon which Israel’s dreams are shattered and a haven for those who fight for the liberation of Palestine. Let the people of the South always be at the forefront of the fight against Israel and for the liberation of Palestine.”
— Sayed Musa al-Sadr

How do you describe the taste of the Southern Lebanese sunset and the rhythmic summer breeze inviting the towering, fragrant pine trees to dance?

Tatreez (Arabic: تطريز) is a type of traditional Palestinian embroidery. Tatreez uses traditional cross-stitch embroidery and is practiced largely among women. The craft was originally practiced in rural areas of Palestine, but is now common across the Palestinian diaspora. Historically, each village in Palestine had their own tatreez patterns. The landscape was a major source of inspiration for the patterns and motifs, which speaks to the variation in style that was common to see among all of the different tatreez expressions that were particular to each Palestinian village.
After the violent displacement and dispossession of Palestinians in 1948, people were living together in refugee camps. The different styles of tatreez became less distinct and have continued to evolve with the diaspora. Following 1948, tatreez evolved to reflect the experiences of Palestinians. Palestinian women began to incorporate the Palestinian flag and its colors into their tatreez as a means of resistance to the occupation of Palestine. Consequently, tatreez became an expression of the identity, heritage and resistance of Palestinian women and their dedication to preserve their ancient culture.

More zionist racism and propaganda:
Tumblr media
It's almost like the issue they have isn't with Jewish Arabs in Arab countries, it's the zionist occupation neighbouring them. See:
2006 invasion of Lebanon.
The zionist occupation of Sinai, which created nearly a million internally displaced Egyptians.
Israel's 2023 plan to displace all Palestinians into Egyptian territory, the Sinai Peninsula.
The ongoing zionist occupation of the Golan Heights, which is not recognized by any country, it is internationally recognized as illegal.
The zionist occupation of Southern Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war that they aided and abetted.
The zionist occupation collaboration with Lebanese christofascist Philangists, that destroyed Lebanon, massacred countless Lebanese Muslims and Palestinians, and led to the creation of H*zbollah, their current biggest threat.
Sabra and Shatila, in Lebanon.
Israel been bombing Syria with air strikes since October 2023, and bombed Syria's airports, TWICE, unprovoked.
'Israeli Defence' Minister Yoav Gallant threatening "the ones who will pay the price will be first and foremost Lebanese citizens, [...] What we're doing in Gaza, we can also do in Beirut."
Even if you somehow bend over backwards to believe Israel was righteous in any of these war crimes listed (non-exhaustive list), you're lying by saying this shouldn't be of any concern to the countries involved, or the people in those countries. Zionists are beyond intellectually dishonest.

even though my blog is tiny and does not have a giant following i would like to make it clear that my blog will never be a safe space for zionists.
as an arab, as a person from bilad al-sham, and more importantly as a human being, i consider it extremely important to express support for palestine and her people. this account is dedicated to sharing the colorful history of the shami countries and MENA as a whole and with that in consideration, there is no room for zionism or other forms of support for colonialism throughout the third world.
my heart and my support are with palestine. always and forever, the land will be palestine and her people will remember, and those who stood against her in her struggle against imperial control cannot be allowed to pretend they did anything else but support settler-colonialism.
from the river to the sea 🇵🇸♾
