"I've always got respect for someone who favors the mace. I FAVOR them for favorin' it!" The smith folded his large arms and laughed. Now calmly he walk over to his left, still behind the counter.  With a proud arm movement he'd display the only mace on the wall behind him. A silver one, though it wasn't incredibly beautiful it clearly had artisan qualities. Subtle engravings and designs on the flanges displayed the care put into it. 

"Silver is a dense material, good for crushin'. I'm sure you know that already. But I'm old I like to talk. I've had this thing for a couple years. Took good care of 'er. Y'see I normally deal in commissions, not walk-ins. So my inventory is a bit small. So ya can buy 'er or we can get you a commission."

"Because I’ve been looking forward to this day for the better part of a month, it’s one of my favorite days you know, been saving for it too!" He then places a fairly fat coinpurse on the table. "Now then, what kind of maces do you have?"

The smith sniffed. "Ain't that not supposed t'be too good for ya? An' yeah... Sorry about that. I just got a thing with elves. They worry me, make me jumpy."

She grinned mischievously. “Spooner after spooner, as a matter of fact. I was holed up in one of those dirty spooner dens but I came out when I heard someone mention elves.”
