حين يطري عليك الناس بالقول أنك متوقد الفكر، ذكي، ويثنون على تعدد اهتماماتك وشدة إتقانك لكل ما تقوم به، وسعة فهمك للحياة والناس، تشعر بأن هذا لا يشكل سوى قدراً يسيراً مما تحب أن تُعرف به وتُثنى عليه. بالنسبة لي أحب أن أسمع الناس يقولون لي: كم أنتِ عطوفة وحنونة، ما أجمل روحكِ المتسامحة، ما أطيب نفسكِ المراعية للآخرين، وما أجمل حُسن استماعك وإصغاءك لكل مَن يفتح قلبه لكِ، (مرة قيل لي أنني كريمة النفس ما أجمل هذا التعبير!) في النهاية هذا ما نتعامل به فيما بيننا كبشر وهذا ما يشكل أساس علاقتنا ببعضنا البعض، قد ينفع الفكر والموهبة والشخصية الفذة والأفكار اللامعة في تسيير جزء من الحياة ولكنها لا يمكن أن تسحر القلب والوجدان بقدر طيبة النفس والعطف والتسامح والشعور الصادق.
