i just love the idea of an elf ( notoriously “charismatic” and charming ) being a shy little guy who is just head over heels for his husband and turns tomato red about it 🤷🏻‍♂️

darius headcanons i need to work on sometime. :/

darius loves to preform, he is extremely talented musically, he also writes poetry. he loves to wax poetic about his emotions on paper but is easily embarrassed when trying to verbally express them.

while he is far more shy than gil, he does love being adored and fawned over, even if it will make him blush a bit.

he loves his husband so much —

he grew up in high society, and was often forced by his parents to preform at parties which for a time in his teen years caused severe burnout with his joy for music. though over time as he matured and got away from his parents he learned to love music for himself.

bard magic and the inherent power of words.

he has a complicated relationship with his own magic.

being an elf, darius doesn’t need to sleep, though he does like to lay in bed while meditating / undergoing reverie. there are occasions where he will fall asleep if relaxed enough. it’s become a bit of a habit especially the longer he stays with shaun. though more often than not he will read quietly in another room after his husband has fallen asleep. ( he does however make a point to always be there when gil goes to sleep, or wakes up. )
