It felt like the sky fell on you. As if all the stars disappeared, and the sun never rose again. His words felt like daggers thrown directly at you as he stood there watching you bleed.

3 years.

"I don't love you anymore."

You beg that this was all just some sick dream, a nightmare, a hallucination. Anything but reality. You didn't want to lose him.

"Hm?" You stare at him, unable to process his words. The pain pierced through you as his words replayed in your mind.

"Y/N, please don't make me say it again..." His eyes dropped, his voice getting smaller at each word.

"Make you say what again?" You grip the fabric of your shirt, staring at him with teary eyes as you act clueless to his words.

"I really did love you..." He reaches out his hand to touch you but you stepped back, "I'm sorry."

Your stomach dropped. You were okay a week before, like nothing was wrong. He even took you out on a date, planting kisses on you and everything else you both would usually do.

"But why now." You let out a sob, "why break me now." You laugh bitterly, "Out of...out of nowhere."

"I'm sorry."

"All I asked for was a little bit more effort. Was it because of that? Did I say something wrong?" You stare at him, tears staining your face at every word you say, "Please don't go."

You begged. You never beg.

"I fell out of love, you did nothing wrong. It's my fault, okay?" He stares at you.

"I must've done something. What can I do to fix it?" You cry, it was all you can do right now.

You couldn't bear to lose the man you spent most of your life loving. The man you thought you'd spent the rest of your life loving. It may have been delusional to think that he'd be the first and last love you'd ever have, but it didn't feel like that.

It didn't seem delusional when he stayed out til' late night just to take you home, it didn't feel like that when you cuddled til' 3am talking and laughing about silly random happenings in your lives, or when you'd catch him staring at you with the most sparkly eyes you've ever seen, his eyes holding nothing but love and admiration for you. It didn't feel delusional when he first said those three words during such a casual moment like it was normal and it always has been.

"Seungmin, it hurts." You sobbed, staring up at him with your ruined make up and disheveled hair, "It hurts so much." You clutch the fabric of your shirt where your heart lays.

It breaks him to see how much pain this is causing you, but he couldn't lead you on to something that already left. "Y/N, I'm sorry."

"I just don't get how can you do this so easily..." then it hit you, "Since when...?"

"3 months ago."

"What...?" You could collapse as of this moment. His answer knocked every air out of your lungs, "What do you mean 3 months ago, Min?" You chuckle bitterly, the tears wouldn't stop flooding your eyes.

"I-I lost...I fell out of love 3 months ago." He trembled hearing his own words, looking at your broken state.

"You asshole!" You hit his chest again, and again, and again. You pull on his shirt, his arm. You did anything you could to not feel the pain he gave.

You cried, growing weaker and weaker until you fall in his arms. Seungmin took every hit, holding you after as your body collapsed. His eyes teary at the sight of you, knowing he caused the pain you're feeling. He held you close to him, taking a hold of your balled fist and rubbing it gently with his thumb as he hushed you, "I'm sorry, Y/N."

"This... it's not fair, Min." Your sob muffled by his shirt, "I love you. I've always loved you. Wasn't it enough?"

"I loved you so much. I swear. I loved you so much, Y/N. You're perfect so please don't blame yourself." He gently lead both of you to sit on the ground, rocking you in his arms.

"Why did you have to continue pretending..."

"I knew I made you happy, and that's all I ever want." He runs his fingers through your hair, leaving your hand to fall, "but I can't lie to you anymore. I still care about you...a lot."

"I hate that I can't hate you." You bury yourself deeper into his warmth, may it be the last time you get to be so close to him, "Is there someone else?"

"I would never do that to you. I loved you as much as you love me." He rests his chin on your head.

"You're gonna leave me now..." You smile sadly, tears rolling down your cheeks again, "I lost you."

"No..." He pulls away from the hug, turning your head with his fingers to face him, "I lost you. I lost big time."

"I can't believe I'm gonna lose you, Min. Please tell me this isn't real." You stare at him.

"I wish it wasn't. I wish I still felt the same, but I don't anymore. Please let me go..."

You had no choice, You nodded weakly. Seungmin gave you a sad smile, tears wetting his lashes, "You're an ugly crier." He whispers, leaning closer.

"I hate you." You cried, closing your eyes at the feel of his lips on yours as you shared your final kiss.
