Oh yes, finally some Setharia🥹❤, thank you.
Finished one really long and really hard project, but I'm not completely free yet. Madam Merry-Go-Round English lyrics be upon ye (with bonus sethmaria)
Lost castaway of time, welcome to the land of smiles!
Come, come, let us undo red and blue chains binding you, hand and foot
The giant ferris wheel, the endless haunted house
And just for tonight, as a special treat, a slave just for you!
.
If all the rides and all the games are too much for you to handle,
Why don't you sleep in this cold, lifeless cradle?
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Queen of the grand amusement park
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
I’m just a doll locked up in the dark
.
Watch the wooden horse travel its path
Catch that flickering Utopia
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Even as the world goes up in flames
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
As the ship sinks, the Captain remains
.
As the gears of time spin and spin
Just relax and completely forget everything
.
You come to us for a boon, asking us to grant your wish
Go ahead, write it down, and get to the back! It's not your turn yet!
That great Shadow Parade, red shoes brightly glowing
Marching and marching on, they pretend they are all right in the head
.
As these games last well into the night, and you feel your eyes start to droop
The one who asked for them isn’t me, it’s you
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Queen of the lost amusement park
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Doesn't this beauty look familiar?
.
With these hands, porcelain with no blood
I embraced a kind, loving warmth
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Even if you've fallen in love
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Once you wake up, all will be forgot
.
Long ago, those two vowing their love
Whispered in hisses and croaks of that Snake and Frog
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Queen of the grand amusement park
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
I'm just a doll locked up in the dark
.
Watch the wooden horse travel its path
Catch that flickering Utopia
.
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
Even as the world goes up in flames
We are Madam Merry-Go-Round
As the ship sinks, the Captain remains
.
That sweet laughter as you run and play
If you can't go home, it won’t be my fault, okay?

Is akuno into fullmetal alchemist?
I don't know if he's ever watched it but I found in it some resemblances to the evillious lore.
The resemblances refer to the manga (published throughout the decade 2001-2011) and the anime fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood (2009). 1) Destruction and creation (and alchemy): in fullmetal alchemist, alchemy is defined as a science that specializes in the decomposition and composition of matter. The most important law of alchemy is the following: in order to create something you must decompose something else of the same value (law of equivalent exchange).
Irregulars in the series work in the same way: in order to create something, something else of the same value is destroyed.
To birth something
You have to kill
Whether a parent or the world ("creation girl, Gretel").
In a way, the third-period demons were born through alchemy. The souls of the second-period residents were formatted (destroyed) and then remade as demons.
They destroyed the departed souls of the second period and remade them as demons of the third period— ("master of the heavenly yard", chapter 11, section 2, scene 1).
2) Both series contain beings that are the embodiment of the "seven deadly sins" (the contractors and the homunculi).
3) The father and Ma. Both characters are associated with parenting in their names. They are both beings that dissociated from parts of themselves in order to reach a sort of purity or perfection. The father detached from the "seven deadly sins" within himself to become perfect, Ma got rid of "impurities" within herself like Irina and Levia to become pure.
In a sense, though, they are also opposites: the father tried to get rid of the "seven deadly sins" to become pure, while Ma does the same by becoming the embodiment of all of them.
4) All humans are greedy. Both series describe greed as something everyone has and Greed of "fullmetal alchemist" doesn't give it a negative moral value. It's just how humans are, in their nature and he gives it a neutral moral value (fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood episode 46).
The novel "master of the heavenly yard" portrays a similar concept.
Greed is considered a necessary part of the human experience: everyone wants for something. Only, in evillious, greed is a sort of "necessary evil" everyone has.
…Ma can think only of fulfilling her own wish. For that purpose she’s even willing to become “evil”.
However. I myself am the same.
Whether they’re an “irregular” or not—all people are greedy.
There is no perfectly innocent person.
Everyone holds “evil” in their hearts. ("master of the heavenly yard", chapter 10, scene 4).
5) Both have artificial humans that are the embodiment of evil in some form (ghoul children and the homunculi again).
6) The quote "we're not gods, we're not demons, we're humans".
Both series contain a similar quote, but used in a different context ("fullmetal alchemist" in a speech about the frailty of human capability and evillious about the fact we all necessarily have the "seven deadly sins").
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are we demons? No, we’re not.
Are we gods? Not that either.
We grow envious, wrathful, glut ourselves, and sleep
Yes, we are human. ("waltz of the departed").
7) In both series, the contractor or being representing "wrath" has a clash with the one representing "greed" and the first is a dictator.

Luna Hazuki as Amostia's creation counterpart
I think that I now have more context regarding what Amostia said in the "outlaw and lychgate" short story in regards to Luna's corpse:
“We’re going on a journey. No one can get in our way.”
“Tell me who’s inside that coffin!”
“…It’s a corpse. You all called her—‘Luna Hazuki’.”
“–!?”
“And to me, she is—” ("outlaw and lychgate", chapter 3, scene 4).
Now, I believe he meant to say "to me she is a counterpart of creation".
We know that Amostia has been seeking for a "creation counterpart", since Seth had failed (or rather, had deliberately refused to) to give him one.
“Amostia” has no one
the little boy who is the symbol of destruction
he’ll probably continue
to desperately seek out a counterpart ("creation girl, Gretel").
In "Outlaw and Marionette", the singer explains how he had been leading towards a "new world of evil" some individuals that are not permitted to die.
Those outcasts and their god
Aren’t even permitted to die
In that case, I shall lead them
To yet another world of evil. ("outlaw and marionette")
We know from the "outlaw and lychgate" short story that Amostia had deceived Ron Grapple (the "god" the song refers to) into controlling some dead soldiers (the outlaws) for the purpose of holding a funeral service for Banica. In reality, the outlaws were taking Luna Hazuki's corpse and the outlaws themselves towards the gate of a parallel world under Amostia's scheme ("outlaw and lychgate", chapter 3, scenes 2 and 4).
So, the singer is clearly Amostia, but...interestingly, he also speaks to someone (in second person)...who could that be?
Though I am separate from their way of things,
I am not alone, as long as you’re by my side.
[...]
I’ve destroyed everything
of the world you built
we’ve always been this way
both of us mutual outcasts.
[...]
The outlaws all lined up
The world shot back a “no”.
They’ll take you along too
Once I put you in the coffin ("outlaw and marionette").
I really believe that Amostia is talking to Luna's corpse here, as he had put her in a coffin and led her to a parallel world in the "outlaw and lychgate" short story.
Luna and Amostia have quite the parallels too.
Amostia had been an outcast in the evillious world as a powerful being of destruction that had been sealed for the longest time, until the very end, until Nemesis released him to make a weapon out of his features.
“I had my nation’s scientists analyze the ‘boy’ and improve upon it into a practical weapon—the weapon of mass destruction, ‘punishment’.” ("muzzle of nemesis", chapter 6, scene 1).
In a similar way, Luna Hazuki has been excluded from the history of the third period. We can see in the "master of the heavenly yard" novel how Allen has wondered where she had been in the first place and overall information about her had been wiped out from the akashic recorder of the "heavenly yard's" black box Allen was in.
“Hey, Allen,” Nemesis spoke up as they were walking.
“What is it?”
“Do you remember anything about a ‘moon goddess’?”
“…No. That title wasn’t anywhere in the ‘blackbox’ archive either.” ("master of the heavenly yard", chapter 2, scene 4).
Interestingly, in the "second period" section of the "documents of evil" in the "muzzle of Nemesis" novel, Luna is the only character whose information is completely missing.
Moreover most characters either don't know about her existence (the third period residents, excluding Allen) or they don't remember her (except for Held, Gilles and Rahab in the "seven crimes and punishment" short story" and Levia...who didn't even remember her initially and asked Allen about her, despite her memories as Levia had been fully recovered at that point).
So, in a way, Luna is really an outcast in the third period.
Yet...she had a big role in the creation of the third period; in the "song of the cowardly black bird" Lich remarked how Luna's robots (as he was an engineer, remember?) were hard workers while terraforming the third period.
The terraforming was progressing steadily.
“Your robots are hard workers,” he remarked to the girl standing next to him with a smile as he watched the monitor.
Luna is a "girl of creation" in a metaphorical way, then...and an outcast too, since she never directly intervened in the history of the "third period" (except for when she resetted the world in the "seven crimes and punishments" short story), as she had wished for all along.
But the remaining two—professor Held and Hazuki—opposed that.
They argued that “the role of ‘climb one’ is over. Now we should leave the world to the new humans, and quietly wait for death inside this spaceship”. ("muzzle of nemesis", chapter 7, scene 2).
Now, speaking about the "seven crimes and punishment" short story, there we can see Amostia and Luna inderectly interacting: the first annhilates the world, destroying all the souls and the land that were spared by the punishment weapon (in chapter 7, scene 3), the second was implied to have created another parallel timeline of the third period, after the boy had destroyed everything (extra episode, scene 3).
Destruction and creation.

Something doesn't make a lot of sense
The adoptive father of Kiril and Irina knew quite well that Seth was making ghoul children with "malice".
"My fellows…the other “ghoul children”, are scattering malice across the country.
Lately I’ve come to wonder if that itself isn’t an omen of our destruction.I don’t have “malice” like the others do, and I also age rapidly.
Yet Seth never called me a “dud”.
He continues to devote his passion to project “ma”.
I think he intends to come back into control as its project head one day.
To save the world…
There are times where I’ve thought that Seth and I are the only ones who don’t have “malice”.
But—nowadays even his good will seems questionable. [...]" (oss:punishment, chapter 6, scene 1).
Then how could he still think that Seth was somehow still a "good person" (or better, someone that doesn't have malice)?
I mean, he has doubts about it, but to me, it should be obvious: someone that artificially engineers beings with malice to spread the latter on a country cannot possibly be a nice person himself, right?
I guess the Clockworker craftsman was brilliant in some things, but not so much in other things.

do you write fanfics
Here you go, I wrote the scene of the reset of Pale Noel from his point of view, kudos to you if you get all the references.
Pale's thoughts in first person are in italics, the rest of the story-telling is from an external narrator. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ His expression was vacant as he observed his beloved run away, quickly evaluating the state of things in his mind before falling asleep from the poison lingering in the air he was taking in.
He had lost everything: his friends full of “evil”, his organization, his pawns, his beloved, his lovers, his hopes, his ambitions for establishing his utopia full of pillages, murders, and other sorts of crime…
…if the world lost its sense of order, what would even remain of it?
What would even await me then?
Not even Pale knew that with certainty, but he had wanted to know; his curiosity would set his soul ablaze each time he pondered that question.
In fact, his organization had been a convenient tool for proving that hypothesis, all along.
Pale had realized that he and his brother weren’t so different; after all, for they both shared greed for proof of knowledge and desire for a successful outcome of experiments in which the world around them was integrating part.
Will I ever know now?
Pale thought within himself, with a touch of despair that soon faded away with resolution.
No. That’s not true.
Not all hope is lost: after all, prodigies always prepare one or two precautionary measures, just in case.
He still had Meta and her babies.
He still had Milky, if he managed to catch sight of her.
He still had his young and vibrant new body of his.
He still had some direct underlings from the research institute…but
…that all depended on his fate, decided by “his brother”.
What will happen to me? What will he do to me?
About that, Pale was confident, for he knew his “brother” wouldn’t dispose of such a naughty child, such an “ideal friend” for him.
“R-run…Meta…” Pale whispered to his lover with resolution. “I’ll be fine…Seth won’t…kill me.”
To that, his “brother” smiled, confirming what he had been pondering: “heheh…that’s right. You’re truly incredible, Pale. An incredibly—bad child. So I won’t kill you.”
To that, Pale sighed with relief.
Nevertheless, the master of malice was still struggling against the poison that was invading his body: his arms and legs were shaking, on the verge of falling apart as they progressively weakened; his eyes were about to close shut in a sleep-like haze and the pace of his breath was quickly but surely slowing down.
He didn’t have much time, he knew that.
Despite that, the clone would still try to approach his beloved ally and lover, just one more time; he didn’t want to leave her without instructing her on what to do (as he would have usually done in the past), even on this extreme occasion.
“Leave the…country…somewhere with few people…the army…shouldn’t be able…to follow you there.”
Pale’s sight was blurring slightly as his lover suggested meeting again in the forest of Held.
Yes, that would be ideal.
The boy faintly and wickedly smiled, struggling to stand on his own legs.
“Right.”
In such a place, so difficult to reach (especially its center, which was hardly searched out by men) they could have started “apocalypse” again, even making such forest a new base for it.
Yes, that would be a fresh start.
As long as we’re together, we can always start again, no matter what.
For that…I will go to see you soon, Meta.
Just wait for me for a while.
As he turned his gaze to the front, there he noticed how Seth was still chasing Meta. Before passing out, he had to do something about it, otherwise, such a newly-constructed plan would have failed very quickly.
Gathering that little speck of energy left in his body, Pale reached his trembling hand out to grip the leg of his “original”, swiftly making him fall to the ground, his face almost taking a hit from the soil.
“I won’t let you go, brother!”
Despite all of that, still laughing soundly, Seth turned to face his clone. His insane smile was now directed towards him.
“Pale…I won’t kill you. I won’t, but—”.
Suddenly, Seth violently gripped his hand and kicked his stomach, making Pale gasp for air because of the intensity of the pain.
As he crouched down, the boy would tightly grip his flat belly with face turned downwards.
How did he get this strong?
It must be his new body.
That’s how the master of malice had fallen, crouched in fetal position as he completely ran out of the little energy he had left (which was already at its lowest, to begin with, because of the poison).
“—I might need to ‘reset’ your mind for a bit.”
In contrast to Pale’s state of being, the original hissed, his smile as vibrant as ever with a triumphant tone.
Pale couldn’t think straight as his consciousness faded away. He had no more time to ponder on his original’s last words. Instead, he had one last instinctual thought surfaced from the deepest reach of his mind.
See you soon, Meta.
He felt little sensation on his limbs; his mind was trapped in a daze.
In his field of vision were dazzling artificial lights in a blurry background.
He couldn’t tell where he was, his cognitive abilities wouldn’t allow him to process what had happened.
His back was grazing upon cold metal, sending him shivers throughout his spine, in such an uncomfortable sensation.
Suddenly, the dazzling lights darkened, replacing it with a silhouette of a man who was crouched to meet his gaze.
“Good morning, Kiril”, the “original” said.
Pale gasped for air, unable to respond.
“Welcome to your new life, your personality is now ‘clean’.”

I made lyrics for madam merry-go-round using a song.
This song is an anthem of fallen angels and i readjusted the lyrics to make it sound like madam merry-go-round is saying those lines.
We are the manager of time, we are the denizens of the park cloacked in soothing cradle.
We are the seven monarchs Soaring through transient bliss upon a wooden horse We are the gears that lurk in midnight hours To care upon the castaways
We are the descendants of the dragon's blood the keepers of the ancient cycle We are the chosen one who dare to explore the mysteries of Angolmois.
We are legion, for we are many and united, we cannot be vanquished.

Theory: Seth is involved in the conception of the Moonlit twins
We know very little about the circumstances behind the conception and birth of the Moonlit twins. But we do have some clues:
The "master of the heavenly yard" novel implies that Alice wasn't lying when claiming that her conception happened without previous intercourse with a man.
Being in the position of receiving oracles, the queen was forbidden from having a husband.
She had to remain pure her entire life.
And she had truly, obediently followed that rule.
That was not a lie.
And yet, despite that—She became heavy with child. ("master of the heavenly yard" novel, chapter 12, section 2).
So, how did that happen? I don't think the 'gods' had such power in them, nor we have an account of either Levia and Behemo telling to have provoked a virgin conception.
If they had been able to do that, the whole "project" ma charade wouldn't have been necessary in the first place, as they would have been able to make vessels for themselves without any help.
Instead, the "gods" would only wait for the leviantan's people to make them a vessel.
Although, that [project "ma"] apparently wasn’t working out. The first mother selected had miscarried, and the next one safely birthed the twins but then ran off with them. Due to various troubles with the ones after that, we were unable to secure bodies we could move into.
And as that went on, time passed pointlessly. ("muzzle of Nemesis" novel, chapter 7, scene 2).
So, how did that happen? How did Alice become pregnant?
I believe that Seth had been the one pulling that out, with artificial insemination with the "seed" of Levia and Behemo.
Firstly, Seth calls Adam a "twin of god" in his monologue, in the "crime" novel, chapter 4, scene 4.
That implies two other facts:
Seth knows about the nature of the Moonlit twins.
Adam and Eve Moonlit have genes from Levia and Behemo, therefore they must have been conceived using the same seed that has generated Hansel and Gretel.
This adds up with the clues about Seth having a secret passage to meet the queen and the fact that he had been the first character introducing the research institute to the "god seed". Therefore he must have known about that before, even before anybody else, as he had been a climb one member himself once.
You can find about that in the "crime" novel, chapter 3, scene 7.
Moreover, Seth had been researching for years for methods to make artificial humans, through the "next queen project" (as Horus); you can read that in the "crime" novel, chapter 2, scene 3. (or again chapter 3, scene 7).
Notice how the "ghoul children" research is an offshoot of the "next queen" project, as well ("crime" novel, chapter 5, scene 8).
So, Seth had been working in that field quite a lot for many years. It wouldn't be out of place for Seth to have used the "seed" of Levia and Behemo to conceive the twins.
That would explain how the twins were conceived without intercourse but with artificial insemination.
Now, I know you have this question: why don't Adam and Eve look like Hansel and Gretel?
I don't know about that. What I theorize is that the artificial insemination with the seed of Levia and Behemo was performed for the first time with the Moonlit twins;
and perhaps, such a first time wasn't very successful, and the twins ended up resembling their mother (who i imagine being a Miku character, remember how "queen of the glass" is tuned by a Miku vocaloid).
After all, that procedure doesn't seem easy (along with the whole pregnancy), given how many times the "project ma" failed. There are many thresholds in order for the artificial conception and birth to be successful.
“I will implant the ‘seed of god’ in your womb. If you become pregnant, then that would be the first success. If you’re pregnant with twins, that would be the second success. And if you can make it to delivery—that would be a complete success.”
[...]
“Not to worry. It’ll just be a light pinprick at first. It’ll increase the odds of success to put as little burden on the mother’s body as possible, you see.” ("punishment" novel, chapter 5, scene 3).
But this is just some fairly baseless speculation.
Another headcanon that i have is that Seth mixed his seed of malice (in a similar fashion Adam did so in the "crime" novel) in the Levia/Behemo seed, to try and make them "hers". After that, Seth would traumatize Adam to activate the malice within him.
Again, I can't really prove that happened but that can be a possibility as well, and would also imply that Seth is partially the Moonlit twins' biological father.
Addendum: evidence that the Moonlit twins were conceived through the seed of Levia/Behemo can be found in the "queen of glass" song::
“our dear daughter Alice, you will make our divine vessel similar to the time you once made Adam”.
This pretty much implies how the next project iterations followed the same procedure as the first attempt: the one of the conception of the Moonlit twins.

Something rushed out of Seth’s sleeve. It slithered up his body, until it was on his shoulder.
It was—a single golden snake.
“This is my current form…a snake built from a particular shape memory alloy that I obtained when I was searching for someone.”

About Kyle's descendants, how could Gallerian descend from him?
Someone on instagram asked me about Kyle and his descendants, after the events of the novel "praefacio of blue".
As confirmed in the novel, "judgment of corruption" in episode 6, scene 3, Gallerian is a descendant of Kyle Marlon.
The question now is with whom Kyle had a child and when.
Indeed, Kyle didn't have any children in the events of the novels of his arc, so it must have happened afterward.
In the "epic of evil" booklet, Kyle's aftermath is described as such:
[...] Kyle leaves his throne to his younger half-brother Arkatoir and disappears from marlon. After that he continues to wander various countries, making art as a painter, as was his dream when he was young.
Eventually he reunites with Yukina in lucifenia and quits his journey, living alongside her. Apparently they did not have a marriage relationship. Though he ultimately never achieved greatness as a painter, in her later years Yukina writes that he “seemed happy nonetheless”.
So, Kyle abdicated and started a trip through various countries, pursuing his hobby as a painter.
After that, he reunited with Yukina, with which he hadn't entered a marital relationship.
Interestingly, Gallerian seemed to have a faint ancestry from the Freezis bloodline.
“There’s no need to get so abject about it. Even you sort of have a connection to the Freezis family in your genes.”
Just as Loki said, Gallerian’s great-great-grandmother was a member of the Freezis family. Though this person was a distant relative removed from the main family line, and in the present day Gallerian had never received any benefits for it.
("judgment of corruption novel, episode 1, scene 2).
So, how do we explain this?
You may be tempted to think that the connection to the Freezis line is due to Yukina. After all, she and Kyle did live together, even if not in a marriage, right? After all, Yukina was the only character listed to have lived with Kyle.
I don't believe this works.
The aforementioned novel paragraph makes clear that Gallerian's connection to the Freezis family is due to the great-great-grandmother and that he's not in relation to the Freezis' main family line.
If Kyle had had a child with Yukina and Gallerian had been their direct descendant, then he would have belonged to the Freezis main family line, like Loki...and that would contradict that paragraph.
The most plausible scenario then is the following: at some point in his life (after the events of praefacio of blue, probably during his travels or after he had started living with Yukina), Kyle had found an unknown wife or a lover with whom he had a child.
The connection with the Freezis family then would have come from the fact that this child or the descendant thereof had a relationship with Gallerian's great-great-grandmother.
With Yukina, on the other hand, there had only been a good friendship.
I also headcanon for this unknown wife or lover to be looking like Michaela, because Kyle had never forgotten about her.
A bittersweet romance.
[...] I suppose he’s still pursuing her [Michaela's] phantom, even now. I don’t have the motive or right to stage an intervention there.” ("gift from princess who brought sleep" novel, chapter 1, scene 2).
