Top ten moments taken before disaster ft. Jake Seresin

yk I'd like to think that after the events of that whole mission, rooster and hangman occasionally text each other every day basically like how iceman and mav do, except it's hangman always reminding rooster that he owes him one, and then instead of the aggressive arguing it's playful banter in between text messages, which shifts into casual conversations and then sometimes late at night when they can't sleep, they talk about deep discussions something like shower thoughts and it gets so bad, to the point that Phoenix and Bob sigh simultaneously when they see Rooster and Hangman sending memes in the hard deck even though they're sitting shoulder to shoulder. And if one of them gets deployed out for a mission,,, it's a constant ritual for hangman to send "give 'em hell." to rooster, which, as time passes, it sounds more and more like "come back to me."

silly meet cute idea of hangster still being naval aviators but not once has their paths crossed ever, funny thing is that they have the same friend circle but their schedules are always conflicting, so when one shows up to a social gathering, the other is detached for a mission. And when they do meet, it's not work related at all, they find out they're neighbors in the same floor of a rental pad, (headcanon roo is a little bit forgetful) Hangman who just came back from throwing the trash away, spots Bradley sitting outside unit 21 b, head knocking on the door aimlessly. He looks like he's in despair, and Hangman can't help the little amused tilt of his lips when he asks what's the matter, Rooster just sighs saying he got locked out of his own damn apartment, and his keys are inside, but his best friend (Phoenix) has a spare, only that she can't come by till 3:00. Feeling sympathetic, Hangman invites Roo in his own place for the time being, they don't talk about work, because Rooster notices all the albums Jake has kept, Star Wars poster, and then some. Of course at that point they're both geeking out, talking about everything and nothing all at the same time. When Rooster's phone vibrates, they're snapped out of their trance, deflating at the prospect of their conversation ending. Roo goes back to his apartment feeling a little bit melancholy bc "holy shit cool neighbor" except it was a spur or a moment thing, or at least he thinks so. Then they're both finally, finally, called in at the same time, Rooster and Hangman share a private smile, which confuses their friends since they never introduced them to each other???

Hey guys, I think tumblr may have marked my main account explicit and I have no idea when it will be reverted back to its previous state, so messages are down on that account and replies too, unfortunately.
