bahrain grand prix ✩ 02.03.2024
here we are. the 2024 season is officially starting‼️‼️‼️💥💥💥 and so is my first ever full f1 season 🥺🥺🥺💘💘💘 i mean tbf i did follow f1 already at the first 2 races in 23 but still!!! i didn't watch them!!! and now i will!!! oh my god!!!
so, my goal for this year is to be less stressed, bc honestly, it was really getting to me 💔💔💔 and i don't want to rely on a dutch guy winning in a sport for all of my happiness... i would like to enjoy the sport more, even if max doesn't win (which... will happen eventually. i am writing this before the race idek if he wins this one!! he might not!!) ‼️‼️‼️🥰🥰🥰 so: enjoy the SPORT more, which is important i think 💘💘💘✨✨🌷🌷🌷 we will see how it goes!! but this was a very important life lesson for me: i will still love max, even if he loses. him losing doesn't make me love him any less 🥺🥺🥺🥺
free practice. as usual i didn't WATCH, but i did keep up with it of course. its always scary when max doesnt do well, but its just practice and its fun seeing who does well surprisingly!! the merc all of the sudden look super strong, which was a real surprise‼️‼️‼️‼️ also daniel p1 in fp1 yeah okay sure 😭😭😭 who gaf. but it did make me realise the above, so thats good!!

RACE DAAAYYYY!!!‼️‼️‼️🙏🙏🙏 first one of the season, oh my god. i literally woke up with my body feeling like it was being chased down by a fucking lion like. it was so serious 😭😭😭💥💥💥💥☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ BUT!! the sun was shining for like. the first time ever in the netherlands, and life was good, and my dad convinced me to play some f1 23 with him beforehand which was a lot of fun :-) ALSO!!! f1 fantasy is soooo fun omg 🥰🥰🥰✨😁😁😁💘💘💘🥰🥰🥰 this will be relevant in a second. so. its 3:45 pm. i feel like im literally dying. my dads sitting next to me. oh my god. my first ever pre-season testing... aah‼️‼️‼️ i'm both nervous and excited, to be honest. it's a lot of feelings. i have missed f1 very very dearly, like, very dearly 🥺🥺🥺 but i think i'll always be a bit of a nervous mess when it comes to sport... but!!! new season resolution!! be less scared!! we will see how it goes 🥰💕

abu dhabi grand prix ✩ 26.11.2023
so. here we are. what a milestone. not only is this the last race of the season, its also my last diary entry for the 2023 season. i am writing this on monday of the first 2024 race week - been working on this project since november. it means a lot to me. to anyone reading this: thank you. i never expect anyone to read my diary entries, but i'm grateful if you do. this has been a wonderful and intense experience 🥺🥺🥺💕💕💕
the last qualifying of 2023. before this, i was scared that max would fail to get pole, since our long pace looked shit or whatever, but they fixed it before quali!! i remember seeing a cat on my way home to quali, and i just knew it would be alright 🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰☀️☀️☀️✨✨🌷🌷🌷 max getting pole was very nice, i loved that a lot 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 a beautiful way to end the season... btw we also got lestappen sticker war and thats just beautiful 💕💕😁😁✨✨🌷🌷🌷🥰🥰🥰☀️☀️☀️☀️🙏🙏💌💌💌
the race was a bit... boring, but, there was this thing looming over my head... 1000 laps lead. and yeah. after a fun little lestappen battle at the start of the race 🥰🥺💥💥‼️‼️🙏🙏 we got 1. yuki leading the race for quite a few laps and 2. max leading 1000 laps. while writing this, i came across the fact that max lead the exact number of laps mclaren prosenna did in 1988 and that made me emotional. watching the sun set in abu dhabi... something so symbolic 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰🥰💥💥💥 yeah... max was tearing up too, on the podium... as was i. oh rocky, you were the bestest boy. i cannot believe this was my first season. i'm so thankful i got to see this. i love you, formula one. i love you, max. i love you, dear reader. enjoy the last song and photodump. 💌🥺🥰

if theres one race last season that i didn't ever in a million worlds expect to go THIS FUCKING HARD, it would have to be las vegas. what the actual living FUCK was this weekend 💀💀💀😭😭😭😭💥💥💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️‼️ like don't get me wrong i had fun, but help??? both me and max went into this weekend like "what fucking ever who cares" and SOMEHOW. one of the best races of the season, objectively 👀👀👀😀😀🍾🍾🍾🍾

qualifying was really crazy, with the weather and all 😵😵😵😵🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️ i think i cried about 500 times because like... what was going on 😭😭😭😭 i'm very glad that the weather gods (senna) pulled that final lap thing for max tho LMAO i win 😁😁✨✨🌷🌷🌷 no but my mom turned to me (she never watches f1) and said "this was senna's gift to you" LIKE OKAYYYY 😵😵😵😵🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you for the max pole... 🍹🍹🍹🍹 OH AND BLURRY LESTAPPEN MY BELOVED. i actually have some very fond memories about this weekend!!! to start with, it was during autumn break 🍁🍂 and i was spending it at my grandparent's cabin (they have a new one, where i had never been before) 💕💕🥰🥰🥰🥰‼️‼️ so that was fun in its own right!!!
qualifying... yea i watched that at home still and i had soooo hoped that lap would stay put but NOOO we just had to deal with track limits ��😒😒💔💔💔💔 but its fine 😭😭😭 we got chole!!!! i fucking love chole!!!!!!!! also charles' helmet was actually kinda great i enjoyed it 👍😁✨
sprint quali was funny. max pole so obviously i was very very happy and enjoying myself but also max SPIIIIINNN 😵😵💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️‼️ also my grandpa wanted to watch with me and i was allowed to watch sprint quali at the dinner table 😁😁😁 with the sound off... but still 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 i spend the entire evening very drunkily defending max from my max-hating mom and grandma... grandpa came to the conclusion max is kinda autistic (wbk) 😁😭😭😭😭😭🌷🌷🌷🌷🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍷🍷🍷🍷

so... here we are. if checo crashes out, we have won the wdc... and if max finishes higher than p3 in the sprint he has also won the wdc... yeah i came into this weekend pretty damn confident, i can't even lie. lmfao.💥💥💥💥 no offense checo but... like... LMFAO. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 i was just excited to see how it would happen!!!
qualifying was a nightmare and a dream somehow lol... TRACK LIMITS my detested‼️‼️‼️‼️ but we got da pole... so i was feeling pretty confident‼️‼️‼️💕💕💕🥰🥰🥰 it was also funny that he didnt do a final lap, he was just confident enough i love that... as he should 🥺🥺🥺✨✨🌷🌷🌷

was kind of scared of this race‼️‼️🥺🥺 like was singapore truly a one off? or was there a fundemental issue with the new TD rule?? 🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏 i was spooked!!! also!!! this is max's last race as a 25 year old 🥺🥺🥺🥺 yeah no i was... also looking at my prosenna obsession i rlly love this track + its history + this is of course where max won the wdc last year AND its maxs chance to win the wcc!!!

so... this is where it ends 🥺🥺 this is where it allll ends... when i needed her (max win) most... she disappeared (KIDDING) 😭😭😭💔💔💔 nah for real i came into this weekend being hopeful but cautious, knowing max and rbr have already achieved everything i wanted them to achieve this year, except all podium finishes for max (and ofc the championships, but like, come on man) 🥺🥺🥺🥺 so like... i wasn't going to enjoy seeing max lose but it could've been worse‼️‼️‼️‼️ fun fact: this was the first race i watched while enrolled in my internship. sigh. after this my experiences will probably get shorter bc internship like blended my life and i genuinely don't remember much 😭😭😭

sooo.. second race after we got the nine wins in a row. you know the stakes - i know the stakes, we all know the stakes. 😵😵😵😵💥💥💥💥 needless to say i was nervous going into this weekend, although i was also excited!! at this point i remember feeling a bit more stable as in i was getting more and more sure that max wuld become wdc 😭😭😭😭 took me long enough LOOOL 😭😭😭😭✨✨✨✨
qualifying was... it was fine i guess.. i had hoped for max pole of course, as i always do,,, but!!! i wasn't too scared when i saw what happened 🙏 also at one point we had max alex and charles in the top three.. i genuinely don't even know where to start with this. my favorite race of all time (suzuka 90 is a close second). i was there. what a fucking masterpiece genuinely i don't know where to start?? ah??? so i guess i'll just... start???
the summer hadn't been too kind to me, but let's not get into that too much because truly who cares (i'm trying to get over something here), but it was my bday and this was my first race as a 21 year old ^_^ 💕🥺☀️☀️🌷🌷 and this race means much to me than just... best race of the season (which it truly fucking is btw like believe me if you think s1ngap0re was better u gotta unfollow me i'm sorry blud 💀💀💀)
sooo. erm. let me start with free practice!!! hey yeah i don't ever watch fp, but. guess what. I WAS THERE‼️‼️‼️‼️🥺🥺🥺 i had gotten tickets for zandvoort day one, and i'm beyond glad that i did. so so many good memories. i got so fucking sunburned 🥺☀️☀️. i saw vallteri on his bike on the way to the track (me and all the other verstappies in the bus waved at him and he very awkwardly waved back 😁😁😁😁😭😭😭😭 love u val) watching f1 cars, seeing rocky and max irl... it was beyond everything. i loved it so fucking much. i got my rbr jacket (🥰🥺💕🙏💥) there, along with just very good and nice memories :,)... no offense to daniel but seeing daniel break his wrist live was also very fucking.. lets say interesting 😵😵😵😵 i do NOT wish anyone harm btw genuinely very genuinely but that's a memory that will stick w me forever.... btw the fact i got a sunburn is very funny considering there was no sun to be seen on race day LOOOL. also george? new haircut? gax? what the fuck was this weekend (take me back)

argh, we enter the final race before the big summer break - the belgian grand prix‼️‼️☀️☀️✨✨ i'm not going to share too much about my personal life and what was happening during this time, but suffice it to say that i am so glad i had formula one as a distraction 🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏💌💌 and what a race it was, am i right?? 💕💕💕💕💘💘💘
qualifying was... well, not stressful, i guess? i mean, the streak of poles had already been broken, and i wasn't too upset about max getting a grid penalty. my dear friends reassured me that, nah, he'll be fine - spa is his track 🥺🥺🥺💕💕💕 still wasn't too happy about the grid penalty... but we ball 🤾♂️🤾♂️ and we move ☀️✨ especially because the prior race had showed me that not getting pole isn't the end of the world, especially for max at belgium 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕. i do think it's REALLY funny how he put his whole cunt into THIS qualifying, knowing he'd get a penalty anyway... 😭😭😭‼️‼️‼️ ALSO LMFAO max being soooo mad in quali is hilarious like dude... hey... you made it... him apologising to gp afterwards is extremely adorable though 💕🙏
i'm not even sure what to say about the sprint and sprint shootout except that lance fucking it into the wall was kinda funny, although i do feel bad for him 🙏 also fernando crashing on his birthday... what was in the air for AM that day man 😭😭😭
truly, watching max go from p6 to p1 in the race was very enjoyable 🥺🥺💕💕💕 the alex drs train was also very very fun to watch as always 😁😁😁🍹🍹🍹 the lestappen moments this weekend were very cute too, the little goobers 🥰🥰 max saying it's unfair that him and charles don't battle too much anymore 🥺🥺🥺🥺 charles tapping max's back to get his attention after the race... sooo.. a few weeks without racing, produces what?! this. i must say, this is another race i don't remember much of - i remember what i was doing the morning before qualifying strangely enough; my parents had already left for paris - me, my now ex and my brother stayed at home, and i was doing groceries. praying for another max pole. god works in mysterious ways 😭💔 it wasn't too warm here, that's what i mostly remember... so... onto the race we go‼️‼️
qualifying was very very scary. you have to remember that max had been on pole since BAKU. and that was to CHARLES. so needless to say, i was very afraid. 🥺🥺🥺 i'm just a little guy!!! you can't blame me!!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️ as you know, qualifying didn't go absolutely amazing for max... and our good friend lewis got da pole... 🥺🥺🥺🥺‼️‼️‼️💥💥💥💥 i literally turned the tv off LMFAO i was so petty 😁😁😁😁😁 i was so scared for the race i stopped watching with sky commentary bc i didn't wanna hear british bias (BEST DECISION EVER STAN F1TV)‼️‼️‼️✨✨✨✨

imagine... the beach, the sea, the feeling of sun on your skin; a pina colada in your hand... 🍹☀️🌊🏖️🌴 now, imagine seeing a young person in the periphery of your eye sight, sweating, refreshing their ipad screen every two seconds, despite the terrible wifi. what are they up to, you think to yourself. they seem stressed, a family emergency? maybe a fight with their partner? you decide to take a closer look - maybe you can help!
as you come closer, the ipad screen starts to become more clear to you. the person is looking intensly at the screen, their hands in a praying motion, as if they're asking god themself. and then you see it. a car. all of this over a car. on one of the most beautiful places a person can be, this person is watching a fucking car. on a screen.
you go back to your seat. what the hell dude.
RIGHT so as you can maybe guess!!! that person!!! was i!!! 💥💥💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️ i was celebrating a summer holiday on the beautiful island of kos, greece, when silverstone weekend took place 😵☀️ and instead of being a normal person about it, i told my now ex i needed to watch it, no matter what. LMAO. 💥💥💥

austrian grand prix ✩ 02.07.2023
AAAAND WE ENTER AUSTRIA!!! one of the bestest races of this whole season. my goodness gracious. around this time i was really getting into the flow of formula one, watching races, writing, editing, etc‼️‼️‼️💕💕 just having a ton of fun!! austria is a special one though, for many reasons, which i will list below 💌✨🌷
officially summer!! the sun is shining down on my face, life is pretty good - despite the heat ☀️💥 i was liking life!! also done with uni, which hehe, helped a lot LMAO i loved how i could spend all my time now focussing on my hyperfixation YAY 🥺🥰🥰 maybe one day i'll get to do that again...
this weekend was a very special weekend for me, as we had a wedding as well (IT WAS SO CUTE), which meant i would be missing sprint + a part of sprint quali... was i a bit upset? a little, but to be honest, i didn't mind much - i wasn't too scared. i found out later that the guy getting married is also a HUGE f1 fan so now we text while watching 🥺🥺🥺🥺💕💕💕 f1 is genuinely one of the best things that has ever happened in my social lifejfdhgjhdfg 😭😭😭
qualifying was fun to watch!! i remember being a little stressed for a chole (charles pole), but max managed to get pole anyway 💕‼️💥 my sweetie... btw the fucking track limits were so funny. it felt kind of like a nightmare or a fever dream: one second ur driver was doing well, the second they were out even after qualifying section had ended... it was quite ridiculous 😵😵😵💥💥 the fia was crazy for that one OMG. ALSO!!!!! CHARLES WINK AFTER!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
i watched the sprint shootout in my car on the way to the wedding (i was obviously not driving)... lewis out in sq1 and nico in p4 were the highlights for sure hehe... 🌷💌✨✨ other than that it was nice being able to watch it with my brother in the car on his fuckass phone 😁😁
i think the sprint has the funniest story. the sprint started DURING the ceremony so obviously we couldn't watch, but alcohol 🍷 was handed out during the ceremony, and afterwards me, my brother and a couple of friends were hanging out around a table. i asked my dear brother to pull up the stream (intoxicated), he did - i saw max leading with a FUCKING 21 SECOND GAP in a SPRINT‼️‼️‼️😵😵😵😵 i literally cheered and then drank a whole lot more. god bless you max. thank you. 🥺🥰✨🙏🌷 i got very very drunk that evening - but my brother got more drunk sooo.. 😁😁😁

the race itself was quite decent!! before watching the replay i only really remember being mad because max's gap was "so little" 😭😭😭😭😵😵😵 spoiler alert: it was about 10 seconds AGAGFSDHSFDGSF... whatever i've grown thank god 🙏🙏🙏🌙🌙🌙 what i didn't remember until now was the poor little bird... rest in peace lil guy 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ and max having issues with tyres in cold temperatures (i suddenly remember why i was so scared of vegas) 🌞🌞🌞 i didn't remember george in the wall but i love george in the wall. fyi i fucking love george and i will not tolerate any genuine hate (hyperbole, idc as long as you don't hate max), but i just fjdghjgfdfhgjdh HES SO FUNNYYY 😭😭😭😭😁😁😁😁💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️ max laughing about almost putting it in the wall... you better be grateful youre my sun sweetheart because i was a bit mad at you jghdfjg 😵😵😵😵😭😭😭💥💥💥 him winning made my entire week though 💕💕 other than that obviously the 4433 was INSANE this weekend like WHUH. what happen.... the infamous selfie... the your rear end looks insane........
