I’m not saying your the most gross horrible disgusting person ever for consuming stories that depict the things you listed, but it is weird. Like…Objectively. And what’s even weirder is condoning actively liking or actively liking to write stories that depict those things and making it seem like it’s ok because “I don’t condone those things in real life!”. The media you consume online effects your perception of things offline. And especially with the undertone whump is written in, it makes it seem like you’re normalizing or even romanticizing those things.

I am begging anyone who was genuinely upset by my comment to go outside and touch some grass. Maybe take a walk around your neighborhood, look up at the clouds, have a face to face conversation with somebody, anything! Have a good day.
