God is good!

Last Friday(9/28/2018), I had finally undergone colonoscopy after months of feeling severe pain in my lower right stomach. My ct scan result showed that the infection in my stomach caused my large intestine to narrow down to the point that I couldnt eat even small amounts of food without feeling pain, and easily getting nauseus. From 55kg(in july) I'm still down to 38. I am literally skin and bones. So with that finding, my doctor suggested I go thru Colonoscopy in order for us to find out what caused the infection and see if there's tumor inside. And if there is, we should be ready for the possibility of surgery.

Friday came, the day before the procedure I had nothing but water, juice, laxatives and loottts of Gatorade in order to have my colon cleaned.

After the procedure, my doc said there was no presence of cancer cells inside (BIG relief for us since my mother died of breast cancer), but parts of my colon are swollen so they gave me antibiotics. He said surgery is unnecessary. Now we're waiting for the biopsy results before I can be given the right meds, and diet I need.

God is indeed soooooo good. I am very grateful to be under Your mercy, Lord. Thank you.

I’m all about self care- completely- but for some people that means chamomile tea and a bubble bath and going to bed at 9pm and for other people that means staying out til 2am on a Tuesday with people they haven’t seen in a while and laughing until their stomach hurts. You’re gonna meet people that you really want to like but you just don’t feel anything towards. And you’re gonna meet people you don’t want to like that make you feel a lot. And sometimes those people that you don’t care for, won’t care for you either. But sometimes they’ll become obsessed. And sometimes it’s the other way around. And sometimes you meet someone that surprises you and sometimes people are exactly what you expect. But the best part is that you have no way of knowing who’s who besides jumping right into the middle of it and it forces you to feel- and sometimes to not- and that’s what makes things scary and messy but also fun.
