Yeah! ^^ It's a very sweet thing to make for someone! I found the package I ordered, on Etsy! :) The seller does their very best interpretations of the characters they are writing of and make the letters seem like they are really written by the characters themselves and that the extra gifts are from them. And thank you! :) I'm sure I will enjoy it a lot when it comes. ^^

So I recently just ordered myself a large comfort character care package from a seller with a lot of positive and five star reviews who keeps characters entirely in character.... And if you know me well enough, then you'll know which character I picked to get sweet/uplifting letters, self-care items, snacks and a few other nice things from.. OuO I'm anxious and excited at the same time. I had to also fill out a Google Docs form that asks some questions about myself and my relation with the character. Hopefully what I wrote was enough.

It definitely works well with all the expressions! :D I think adding extra layers really helps. This has to be the MOST cutest animation of Walter I've seen! ^^

This is a BIG overload of cuteness here!!! I'm literally tearing up at his puppy eyes (I cannot resist 😭) and could cry at how adorable your entire animation of Walter is!! I'm in love with this!! 😍❤❤❤ I also really like the song that goes with it! 😊 It sounds like something he would sing to Barbara! That kiss mark on his cheek during the end looks like it was from Barbara, I bet. 🙂

And again, I cannot stop staring at Walter's animated eyes, especially when they dilate! The way how they change with every phase he's in is perfect! And I love the eye glow he makes while holding the antramonstrum and how he blushes with after that kiss mark and smiles even more. 🙂

Strickler definitely looks WAY MORE better than the faun for sure!! ^^ And I agree that the composition is very interesting! Trying to understand a statue's story like that also sounds interesting, and fun to me. 🙂

I look forward to seeing more ancient art based drawings of yours! ^^ And you should draw more in that style! It's a really beautiful style! :D

Barberini changeling anyone?

Because I draw human Strickler mostly (love him!), I think it it's time for some TrollWalt art, in another attempt at classical- #archaeology-meets -trollhunters crossover.

But closeups first:

The original pose is from the hellenistic statue of the Barberini Faun (while most people find the original statue quite attractive, I personally don't like it that much, so I decided to make him more aesthetically pleasing for me 😉)

Stricklander is chilling in some kind of darklands environment. Don't worry, he ist fine... Just tired...

Maybe i will post you the link to the original sculpture later. 🙂

Sadly, she's not.. But Strickler could always help teach Barbara how to cook! He would be happy to do so, and he would enjoy watching her learn and cook better. :) For sure Strickler would be the chef of the house while Jim is away and would cook great meals for Barbara and himself. He's got centuries of cooking experience, I bet, and would be as good as Jim.

I think Strickler would probably keep Barbara away from the stove, but would watch her in case she does use it, just to make sure she doesn't burn something or cause it to catch on fire. And he certainly would protect his and others tastebuds and appetites from Barbara's awful cooking skills.

I agree with you that the episode is hilarious. It's one of my favorites! :D And I know what you mean. :)

One of the moments that I wish we would have gotten to see in the Trollhunters episode, "Recipe For Disaster", is Jim and Strickler's facial expressions/reactions to eating the apple pie that Barbara made where she blended up everything for it and accidentally burned it to the point where it caught on fire. The pie's taste would've been so horrible and their reactions would just look so hilarious after they take their first bite of it. XD

Your artwork looks absolutely beautiful!!! 😍

This is one of my favorite styles of artwork and it's inspiring!!

Strickler looks pretty relaxed and a little dramatic in his pose in a way. lol He certainly seems tired out. I absolutely love how smooth you colored, shaded, and blended his whole body, knives, cape, loincloth and the whole background! I also love all the detail on everything and it all looks so fantastic!! 😍 This deserves a lot of attention!

Also, I love this version of the pose a lot more better than the original statue (I googled it up). It's more pleasing to the eyes, and especially when it's a character I love, doing this pose! 😊
