In 2009, Yamaha closed its factories in England and Taiwan. Models formerly made in those factories are now being produced in Yamaha’s other Asian plants. Yamaha also owns the renowned Austrian piano maker, Bösendorfer. Even more when you’re looking to purchase a keyboard for your home or studio. You don’t want to have a good keyboard that becomes a disturbance for your house. Look for the dimensions of each model and make sure they fit your available space. In this day and age of technology, it is compulsory for appliances to have a USB port. You can transfer the music you create to a laptop or other music-making and editing software. It is one of the most beloved Yamaha digital pianos in the world. I was looking for a good and inexpensive "a piano" to have and use, so I found this. But then I discovered from playing it, it has a lot of the other voices, like harpsichord, strings, and electric piano, and bass. It is a takes me back to those casio toy pianos we had as kids with the built in demo. But more importantly, the DGX-660 features a 320×240 LCD screen, which makes the keyboard a lot more user-friendly. It’s pretty well-built and sturdy enough to hold this rather large keyboard. This is a flagship model of Yamaha’s “Portable Grand” line and the only keyboard in the line that has fully weighted keys. Some people prefer having a nice-looking keyboard, even if it doesn’t have a lot of additional features.
