I think the reason why being a therian is so important to me and why I like to wear gear is because I didn’t know what I was when I was younger.

When I was younger I didn’t know why I felt different. I used to dress up as animals and run around on all fours way late at night. I didn’t want anyone to see me.

I think that’s why I enjoy gear. I like to wear it around because I would have loved to as a kid.

It’s important that everyone understands that gear has nothing to do with being a therian. But I’m happy there are masks and tails you can get.

I present pretty fem most of the time. I wear skirts to hide my legs so it looks more like a tail, I have long nails for claws. Most mermaid attire is pretty feminine. I’m non binary so it can be conflicting. I’m fem but I’m still not a woman
