The locations depicted in the film are digital recreations of actual places in the Solar System, built from real photos and map data where available. Without any apparent story, other than what you may fill in by yourself, the idea of the film is primarily to show a glimpse of the fantastic and beautiful nature that surrounds us on our neighboring worlds - and above all, how it might appear to us if we were there.

As some may notice I have borrowed ideas and concepts from science fiction authors such as Kim Stanley Robinson and Arthur C. Clarke, just to name a few. And visually, I of course owe many tips of my hat to painter Chesley Bonestell - the legendary master of space art.

More directly, with kind permission from Ann Druyan I have also borrowed the voice of astronomer and author Carl Sagan to narrate the film. And that's what Edge have announced — not just for the company, but for every single building they develop and redevelop moving forward.

Prior to creating this film for the announcement we worked closely with them to redevelop their brand voice with an emphasis on social responsibility. In the film we've used this voice along with the metaphor of reusing and repurposing materials throughout. The result is a mixed-media delivery that speaks directly and honestly.

The Microsoft Design team approached us to create a teaser for the Fluent Design System. It’s one of the major topics at the Microsoft Build 2020 conference. Fluent UI is kind of a collection of UX frameworks for creating web and mobile apps that share code, design, and interaction behaviour. It’s a new approach to how Microsoft works across disciplines and product teams to deliver more seamless experiences that feel natural on all devices. You can say it’s a new cross-platform library or just simply put, Fluent is about designers and developers working better together to create best-in-class experiences that empower their customers.

There’s fast, and then there’s UA Flow fast.

72andSunny approached Frame to develop a series of short films to highlight the many features of the brand new UA Flow Velociti Wind Running Shoes, from American footwear and sporting apparel giant Under Armour.

The product itself is the culmination of the company’s groundbreaking R&D - featuring the lightweight Warp™ upper, the long lasting cushioning of the one-piece Flow midsole which has eliminated the need for a rubber outsole.

In close collaboration with the great creative minds at 72andSunny, Frame created a series of CG sequences that visualise the sensation of SPEED, FLOW, LIGHTNESS & FLEXIBILITY. From these four concepts, a series of short motion clips and key print visuals were produced in order to provide an immersive customer experience at the company’s new flagship stores.

A combination of typography and pure CG, the resulting films can be seen on the UA site, its various SoMe channels and on screens of all shapes and sizes at UA flagship stores globally.
