Do you remember the night I told you I was leaving. How your dad cussed me out over the phone. When we got home he said those terrible things to me. Told me I acted like a whore. You sat on the edge of your bed and didn't say a word. I looked at you for support, caring eyes, anything, but you never looked up. In that moment it was over. It was actually over long before that. It was over when we went out to eat with your cousin and you told me to "shut the fuck up". It was over when you refused to touch me at night. It was over the day I went to hold your hand and you pulled away. Moral is it was over a long time ago. You're a liar. You lie about everything. You find reasons to be mad. You crave attention you never got as a child. You look for every reason to be a hero or a villain. You cause a scene. You act tough. You pretend you're above the law. You've got no ambition, no desire to amount to anything. You want to stay in the same town your whole life. You want to be just like your dad whether you know it or not. I truly hope she's okay with that. I hope she can put up with the lies. I hope she's okay with the useless spending and debt. I hope she is okay with your drinking. I hope she just smiles and says "yes dear" when ever you say jump. I hope she can be what I wasn't. I hope she's strong enough to handle your family. I hope she is strong enough to handle you. But for the love of god all I ask, please treat her well. Don't let people walk on her. Don't let them do what they did to me to her.
