Twitter user identified by her handle as @ruleyourspace, narrates how she called off a wedding with her fiance upon sighting his mom's pitiable condition.
According to her, this lad buys lots of drinks for strangers and spends millions on his friends, but his mom sells vegetables in the market.
She added that she was fortunate to get a man who treats his mom better and her mother-in-law has been a sweet soul; loved by everyone.
She wrote:
"Called off a wedding with my ex some years ago because he took me to visit his parents at Ejigbo. Dude lived in Lekki. Buys drinks for total strangers & spends millions for friends but your mum still sells ugwu by the road side? Uncompleted zinc house. Take care of your parents.
This man told me that he was working on some things and will do the needful. Some of my friends were like how is it your business but my mum supported me with her full chest. It was not easy because but God was there until l met my hubby today, see the way they care for their Mum, e dey sweet me die. My mum is late now and my mother-in-law is such a sweet soul. The children and grandchildren love her too much.
Ladies, a man that does not care for his parents should not be entering your eyes. If he does not love his mum, chances are you will be treated The same way when he tires of you. And for those who call this a lie, you should check yourselves o. Are you saying Nigerian women can not call off a wedding if they notice some irredeemable character in the man?"

Nigeria's senior national team has moved up four places in the latest FIFA world rankings
The Super Eagles are now the 32nd best team in February ranking published by FIFA on Thursday.
2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winners, Senegal, are number one in Africa and they also moved up two places in the world rankings.
The Teranga Lions are now the 18th best team in the world.
Behind Senegal is Morocco, which is the second-best team in Africa, while Nigeria is the third-best team in Africa.
Behind Nigeria are Egypt and Tunisia in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
However, Belgium is the number one best team in the world, followed by Brazil, France, Argentina, England, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and the Netherlands, making the top 10.
Others that made the list from 11-20 positions are Germany, Mexico, USA, Switzerland, Croatia, Uruguay, Sweden, Senegal, Colombia and Wales.

Manchester United players and interim manager, Ralf Rangnick are currently in disagreement over who becomes the club's next permanent manager.
Rangnick when appointed, was given the privilege to contribute to the hiring of a new manager. And with this in view, the German wants Ajax boss Erik ten Hag as the ideal candidate to succeed him while the players are pushing for Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
Rangnick is expected to leave Old Trafford or take up another position once his time at the helm comes to an end.
United chiefs are confident they can prise Pochettino away from PSG at the end of the season.
The Sun now reports that United players would fully support that move and now new chief executive Richard Arnold is in place they will intensify their pursuit of the Argentine.
After sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November, Manchester United were linked with a move for Pochettino but could not persuade PSG to do business.
Rangnick, who will move into a consultancy role at the end of the campaign, is believed to favour a move for ten Hag.
The Dutchman matches United's key criteria for their next manager by blooding youth, playing attractive football and regularly challenging for silverware.
Having spent several months with the squad, Rangnick will be in a strong position to voice his opinion on what type of manager the club need going forward but that could clash with what United's players want.

Comparing Man Utd’s Record With And Without Cristiano Ronaldo , Cristiano Ronaldo completed his fairytale return to Manchester United last summer – but are they better off without him?
United finished second in the Premier League in 2020-21 and then bolstered their squad by signing Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho alongside Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old scored a brace on his second debut against Newcastle and United were tipped to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title.
But things have gone downhill since then and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November following some embarrassing defeats and a dreadful run of form. Ronaldo has also come in for criticism due to his perceived lack of running and pressing which is demanded of him from the new interim manager
He has scored just two goals under new manager Ralf Rangnick and has failed to find the back of the net in his last five games, his longest goal drought since 2010.
We've taken a look at United's record with the striker in the starting XI and compared it to their record without him since the start of the 2021-22 season.
As the stats show, United actually have a higher win rate and average more points per game when Ronaldo is starting.
The Portugal international is also United's top goalscorer this season and it's not surprising that they average more goals per game when he's playing.
But the Red Devils do improve defensively when Ronaldo is left out of the starting XI and they also lose fewer games on average.

The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism has warned that the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL or ISIS), a terrorist group, is expanding its affiliates and network beyond Syria and Iraq to Africa.
Under-Secretary-General of the UN office of counter-terrorism, Vladimir Voronkov told the Security Council on Wednesday, Feb. 9, that the epicentre of ISIL terrorist group – officially known as Da’esh – activities now appeared to be in the African continent.
The under-secretary-general said that the terrorist activities were gaining ground in Central and West Africa at an "unsettling" scale and pace.
Voronkov said the terrorist activities are intensifying in Central and West Africa, especially Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali and Niger, and attacks are increasingly reported in the border area between Mozambique and Tanzania.
He added that a targeted attack reportedly resulted in the death of the ISIL/Da’esh leader, Amir Muhammad Sa’id Abdal-Rahman al-Salbi, widely known as Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi.
However, the UN counter-terrorism warned that ISIL/Da’esh is known for its ability to re-group and even intensify its activities.
"We have learned over the past two decades that counter-terrorism is a long-term game and that there are no quick fixes," Voronkov stressed.
Citing the need for both military counter-terrorism operations and more comprehensive measures with a focus on prevention, he urged states to use all tools at their disposal, adding, "As we begin a new decade of counter-terrorism, it is time to ask ourselves difficult questions and search for honest answers."

Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta has hit back Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, insisting that he was the solution rather than the problem following a riff that resulted in the Gabonese striker leaving the club.
Arsenal mutually agreed to terminate Aubameyang's contract allowing him to join Barcelona on a free transfer last week.
That decision came after Aubameyang was stripped of the captaincy and frozen out by Arteta after a breach of discipline last month.
Explaining his Arsenal exit at his Barcelona unveiling Aubameyang said: 'I think it was a problem just with him [Arteta]. He made the decision. I can't say much more. He wasn't happy, I stayed very calm and that's it.'
Speaking for the first time since Aubameyang's departure, Arteta said: 'I'm extremely grateful for what Aubameyang has done at the club and his contribution since I have been here and the way I see myself in that relationship is the solution not the problem.
'I have been the solution. One hundred per cent. I can look in the eye of everyone. I do a lot of things wrong for sure but the intention all the time is the best and not for me, it's for the club and the team.'
