I think the best thing abt shipping and fandom drama is how everyone gets to heated about this shit as if it ever effects any one irl lmao. Like we still go to work and school, we still have a life outside of this, and we still live on. These funky little anime dudes will never become real and in the end no one is being hurt, yet we all get so heated over whether x ship is problematic or if x needs to be canceled. like... i get where the concern comes from with drawn porn of children. i get it. yes, that content COULD be used to condition real children into thinking that sort of thing is okay. that child/adult relationships are normal/okay, but it's not the fault of the person drawing the porn.

blame the ACTUAL abuser! blame the parents/guardians of the child for not keeping a close enough eye on them. but literally no children are being hurt simply by that content being CREATED. they're being hurt when that content is deliberately weaponized and used to manipulate/groom them. in which case we blame the abuser. you don't blame knife manufacturers for someone using their knives to kill someone else.
