I’m a paradox. I want to be happy, but I think of things that make me sad. I’m lazy, yet I’m ambitious. I don’t like myself, but I also love who I am. I say I don’t care, but I really do. I crave attention, but reject it when it comes my way. I’m a conflicted contradiction. If I can’t figure myself out, there’s no way anyone else has.

Maybe it won’t work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.

I’ve gotten used to lonely nights and learning about myself. Those long drawn moments of confronting every thought. I understand my decisions and what’s best for me better. It doesn’t mean I have it all figured out. But it does mean it didn’t break me. It made me stronger, just as they said it would.

When someone is crying, of course, the noble thing to do is to comfort them. But if someone is trying to hide their tears, it may also be noble to pretend you do not notice them.

“You don’t need makeup. You look fine without it.”
Yes but if I look fine without makeup then I must look pretty fantastic with it on so why must you try and keep me from achieving that level of exquisiteness
