1)You should be willing to self-regulate correctly.
2)You should be willing to do correct social regulation, inter-organismic.
3)You should be willing to act on your morals/models so you have skin in the game.
4)And you should have goal rationality, you should be choosing the right goals to work on
And so basically these three rational principles,
4)goal rationality he calls prudence or wisdom,
2)social regulation is justice, the correct social one,
and the 1)internal regulation is temperance. And this thing, 3)willingness to act on your morals is courage

Aeternum Certamen
Every day I fight
Losing the battle
Perhaps one day I might..
But until forever struggle
Not with people, natural gods or society
Not with my words, illusion or technology
I fight with..
Where beings begin
They drown spirit in bile, blood, phlegm and Bile
I War with the wretched organ cage
Innocent Ignorant suffering child
Burned alive by Endless blame and Rage
Your heart-torn wailing despair echos through the unnoticed void
quiet screaming desperation of age
Blood shot eyes and self hatred
Consoled by shivering Desolation
stretched till torn
Stitched with scars
Brittle burnt fragments
“Spiritual growth”
Torturous guilt that binds and blinds
Strangled by the frog in your throat
Crushed that bright hopeful butterfly
Foggy headache and bloodshot eyes
Quivering chest desperate for air
Piercing nerves you beg to die
Warped twisted fragile spine
Cramping stomach, gut punch. Why?
Can Should Will Do - not
Might strength and will help?
Might! Strength! And Will! help.
NO it can’t
They won’t
They shouldn’t and don’t
I can make no difference really
So love your fate because
Certainly Uncertainty weakness and indecision won’t
There can be no eternal struggle, you jitter with dreadful passion towards…
It is bitter and sweet, both and suffering bliss
with both hands in a gentle deathgrip the permanent scythe of total impermanence cuts through it all with insightful and ambivalent intent
The bell of creation is ringing forever
Amor fatigue,
Love your tired fate and Kiss the ringing blade that separates all.
That’s it that’s the end, depressing I know
No It doesn’t end there
Yet after all of that
Words can’t explain
After that delicious first bite
A warming sunlight embrace
And a chorus of Heartfelt Laughter
I notice myself smiling

Temporal discontinuity is a serious consequence of time blindness
As if my whole life is a disconnected series of nows decontexutalised from the past and the future
No obvious consequences, No long term planning, not in the middle of anything
Even when my neo cortex tries to push temporal continuity from the top down, the past does not recall, the future is not salient
The problem with externally planning is that it lacks salience, I can't remember to write a to do list, or if I do I forget where it is, or that I already wrote one
What was previously an interesting and motivating plan is now a painfully boring wall of text with no context, no drive
Singular obsessions can push through this problem with hyperfixation
I write a to do list
Do some stretches(calf hamstring lower back, upper back)
Usually it spirals out into distraction but I will leave it there
Will I remember it tomorrow?
I hope so

[draft] Transmission to a Neuro Lord
To Red Beard and the Egregores of Strength and Power, your demands sting with the intensity of lighning. Striking fear and flowing adrenaline through our hearts. push the limit, sweat, blood and glimpse of death. I demand we exhaust the earth, smash crush strike and dig with shovels, pickaxes and your bare hands till your fingertips bleed, we mine deter Walk to the center  Mighty storm for the supreme grace to be granted a central nervous blitzkrieg, as lightning grants, pray for vitality, will, power, strength, motivation, thumos. When I lifted that weight as sisyphus forever moving rocks, I was struck by lightning, spirit flowed like within cells, electrical signals are conveyed along the cell membrane, for communication between cells, the electrical signals generally are converted into chemical signals conveyed neurotransmitters When you pick up that weight your spirit transforms, it enters the realm of thunder storms The flow of polarity is isomorphic from a lightning bolt, to the motors nerves

Praying to the Autocommunity of Temporal Continuity
I am the Anthony of today and the Anthony of today prays to afford the right relationship to the Anthony's of the Temporal Continuity, Anthony's of the Past and the Future
I call on my community of selves across time to lovingly hear and accept the responsibility of temporal continuity, to realise the relevance and virtue of this with humility, gratitude and truth, and not to fall into arrogance, resentment and deception, to overcome and reciprocally open the temporal horizon, and not to fall into parasitic processing, reciprocal narrowing and autocannabalism
I was the Anthony of the past,
I was Anthony of yesterday,
I was Anthony of Last week,
I used to be Anthony of the last month,
I Used to be The Anthony of previous years,
I was The Anthony of the previous Decades.
I was the Anthony of the past,
I was the Anthony of the past,
I will be the Anthony of the Future,
I will be Anthony tomorrow
I will be the Anthony of next week
I will be the Anthony of the next month
I will be the Anthony of the next year
I will become the Anthony of the next decade
I am becoming the Anthony of the next century
I will be the Anthony of the Future,
I will be the Anthony of the Future,
I am the Anthony of today and the Anthony of today prays to afford the right relationship to the Anthony's of the Temporal Continuity, Anthony's of the Past and the Future
May I reflect on the past but not fall into nostalgia
May I plan for the future but not fall into utopia
I pray to accept the past for what is was, and although the past is what it is, I pray to focus on what I can control in the present and what the future may be.
May I reflect on the past,
May I journal
May I plan
I am the Anthony of today and the Anthony of today prays to afford the right relationship to the Anthony's of the Temporal Continuity, Anthony's of the Past and the Future
May the eternal Anthony of the now find realise what is relevant and hold vigilant salience to the autocommunity of temporal continuity

Design
Another really important thing to do, especially as a new map maker, is to design all of your maps symmetrically. I know, I know, that’s sooo boring, but believe me, you can make great maps that way and it solves many of your balance issues for you automatically. With that said: Yes, asymmetrical maps can be made and yes they can be balanced in theory, but they take a lot of work, a lot of understanding, and a lot of experience to make correctly. It’s like the difference between building a go-kart and building a Lamborghini:
Map Making Guide I: Introduction to AWBW Map Design Manco_go-kart_6007r
Map Making Guide I: Introduction to AWBW Map Design 6869
They both work on the same basic principles, but one’s a lot harder to design than the other, and until you have a good grasp on how to make the go-kart, you should hold off on the Lambo. Also, keep in mind that looking like a Lamborghini and driving like one are two very different things: Even when they look good, asymmetrical maps usually have a lot of underlying balance issues. This is why most people stick to symmetrical maps and why I recommend building a very strong understanding of map design principles before attempting anything that advanced.

Moving from Compulsive, unconscious unaware Shifting eg ((Understanding, analysing) (acting)) towards Awareness of attention and action
I am an intelligent and insightful man, I am driven by curiosity, I have to learn and understand, I know the power of this and I am tryinf to understand and build ways to capture and tame and use this.
-
You lack tranquillity
-
What do you mean?
-
There it is
-
What is that supposed to mean?
-
And again
your drive to understand jumps about frantically like an irritated monkey
You aren't even aware that this is an attachment, the attachment to knowing
Without a limiting principle your obsession will destroy you
-
What do you mean? I don't understand?
-
This is a compulsion you have, that you suffer from, you lack control of it and you lack an inner awareness of it. you do not see yourself, if you only understand yourself.
-
Help me to understand how to stop it
-
If there was any understanding that could move you beyond understanding, it would be that you need to practice awareness (noticing) and that through practicing awareness it is that you can become aware that understanding can be empty and unsatisfying it can be an obsessive compulsion
Being attached to the process of understanding
Like Being attached to unattachment
Like Understanding what is nonunderstanding
so practicing not needing to understand
And what is outside your logical analysis?
-
I can't think of anything, maybe I need to research this.
-
You did it again, you cannot turn your understanding against it self.
You can only practice awareness, watch as you question this
-
but how do...... oh I see, yes I was just about to question.
I think I'm beginning to understand
-
Hahaha there you go again
-
I see
I would definitely benefit from being aware of my compulsion to understand, without questioning, and practice something else
-
other than understanding there is awareness
And yet what I have just told you is only an understanding and is not awareness
Sit and focus on a sensation
The sound of a bell or a the flicker of a flame, you might use a notice when you use a hard narrow focus and when you widen and soften your attention
by noticing the impulse to act and the action as separate you can widen the gap
From this a calm and tranquil bliss can form
Do not take this understanding and be satisfied with it, this understanding is empty and hollow, it points towards practice like a finger to the moon.
Understanding the way is not the way
The map is not the territory

Nerds are maladaptive, because they are physically unable to believe something just because it is (socially) useful. They will fiercely insist on their outlandish (or, if they are in a position of power: elitist) opinions, even if nobody else in the room shares them. At best, they learn to shut up, but they will never adopt the majority opinion with the socially motivated openness that they should muster. Well-adjusted people will correctly identify their opinions as deviant, and thus harmful or even offensive. The very same trait that makes nerds useful lab boys or code monkeys prevents them to engage successfully in politics and classroom popularity contests.

A reductive lense I find myself using is that on the in general the difference between SciFi and fantasy is only surface deep and mostly about aesthetics. SciFi is about a kind of "Techno-Futurism" eg Spaceships & Scientists, Star-systems and Strange Species compared to fantasy looking like "Mytho-Medievalism" Swords and scorcerors, Forrests and un-Familiar Fairies although a deeper look into genre tropes probably shows this is structurally incorrect The discussions around Hard vs Soft Rules Systems is interesting to me. It applies to both Magic in Fantasy as well as Science in SciFi. I think they map onto a spectrum of "likelihood" eg impossible, improbable, implausible, possible, plausible, probable proven. This spectrum of likelihood isn't in comparison to the physical world but is in relation to coherence/contradictions of the work to itself. Personally I'm frustrated by an author who's world is vague, they painted such a poor picture of that reality that my predictive intuitions were useless in anticipating the plot. I'm also annoyed at authors who didn't create an internally consistent world that could withstand my unconscious analytical thinking and it starts to become clear that they are confused about their own creation. Trying to get outside of my personal tastes I wonder is there a correct kind of art, is there a wrong kind of art? People's perceptual abilites vary both genetically and as aquired skills. Geeks, nerds and neurodivergents are distinct because their interests are beyond the "norm". You could probably measure this cognitively, certain clusters of ADHD or Autistic traits combined with unusual capabiltities in various cognitive domains written language, music, imagery etc. From that frame you could imagine how different perceptual categories have variable relevence and salience across the population. Remember the blue and black or gold and white dress optical illusion meme? There are various aspects of a film that can break your immersion (break the illusion) not limited to: unconvincing acting, contrived plot, or nonsensical world building, poor set design, outdatd special effects bad pacing and inappropriate tone. I might judge the BBC Sherlock series as lacking in verisimilitude because I can't help but find its worldbuilding unconvincing and it's plot twists contrived, and rather than geting absorbed into a flow state whilst watching the show I am distracted fighting with myself trying to forcefully suspend disbelief. vs For someone else the show might be brought to life by its aesthetic design eg the tilt shift photography/UI visualisation. Captivated by the show's emotional conflict between characters eg Watson the epathetic but wounded soldier limping after Sherlock a genius incapable of emotional connection. On one level its curious that we can even suspend disbelief about these unrealities. illusions, whether deceptive bullshit or imaginal insights, work on some people because heuristics/biases in their cognition can be predictably relied upon to find relevence in those saliences. Like how individuals might be drawn to specific virtues/vices but don't struggle with others. I think a lot of the above applies to science, magic, crime detectives and other mystery novels iwithin speculative fiction.
