My very sardonic Dragon Age: Dreadwolf BINGO board. (A few of these are lighthearted predictions, while most are concerns based on historical precedence.)
I will be playing along with this when the game is someday released.
I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.
- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.
- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.
- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.
I was wondering why some cinema releases aren’t happening in germany/europe. Like for example ministry of ungentlemanly warfare.
Now I read that amazon prime bought the rights to show the movie in europe, so only streaming but no cinema release…that’s so messed up??
As an example, this movie is made for cinema (let’s be honest, some movies you watch once, maybe twice then not again for years). With how it’s filmed plus the sound it is best experienced in cinemas. It’s what makes cinema culture and what keeps cinemas alive. Streaming already ruined enough and now they‘re taking movies from the already struggling cinema branch.
And how is it supposed to profit when streaming services pay this license fee? I don’t think that payment will even cover the movie expenses. There’s no marketing whatsoever for this movie either, so it just drowns in the unknown. Ergo it’s already reaching less people. So the only other way to generate money (outside the license) is to pump it full with ads. Wow what a movie experience…
I always thought Buffy switched networks after season 5 because WB didn't want it anymore, but turns out it was because WB wouldn't go higher than a $40 million budget and UPN swooped in and offered them $50 million, so now I'm picturing this
UPN: Welcome to our network! What are you going to do with the extra $10 million?
Marti Noxon: I'm gonna make Buffy and Spike fuck a house down
apparently people are now purchasing thick water to make slimes with because of a trend on tiktok
thick water is for disabled people who can’t swallow properly. stores usually have extremely limited supplies of it.
please don’t buy thick water for fun or to make slime with. it’s literally the only way some disabled people can drink anything. It’s not a fucking toy
