May Writing Challenge

This May I want to get back into writing. I’m not at all consistent. I’m at a point where I don’t feel like I can work on bigger things, because I can’t guarantee myself to keep working on it in a week from now. So I will take this month as a training month to get back into the habit of writing. I will do this by writing (or trying to write) 200 words every day. Topic is irrelevant. How great my writing is that day is irrelevant. Just 200 words written down. A habit taking 21 days to form was debunked, it does take a lot longer, but 31 days are a start I would say. These are already 140 words, so 200 words every day are hopefully manageable. You're more than welcome to join me if you like ��

One of my friends has two adopted daughters who are 6 and 7. Because they have totally different genetics, the 6y/o had trouble eating until she had a corrective surgery and is therefore very short and thin for her age and the 7y/o is very tall and by BMI is “obese” but if you look at her you can tell it’s all muscle, she’s very athletic.

Anyway everyone likes to pick up the six-year-old because of course she weighs nothing and can be tossed around very easily but I’ve made it my goal to let the seven-year-old feel the fun of getting tossed around too, since kids that age love it — but damn we played a lot yesterday and I totally effed my back, legs, and arms by not being more careful. Literally feeling it even in my glutes.

Best whole-body workout is evidently swinging around a third-grader for half an hour.

talking to people while holding a beverage is awesome because you don't have to know what to do with your hands and when you don't know what to do with your face you can just take a sip

My one gripe with the new Game Changer is that they should’ve committed to the FixItMan78 bit harder, they shoulda paid SungWon Cho to make like 30 of those videos so the contestants had to scroll through a bunch to find the right one.
