- Them saying “I’m sorry” at least 5 times a day.

- You promising them everything is okay.

Adopt a Skull

One of the museum’s most popular exhibits is the display of 139 skulls collected by Viennese anatomist Josephy Hyrtl in the 1800s. Each skull has a unique and interesting story. The museum also encourages visitors to adopt a skull. For $200, a donor pays for cleaning, restoration, and remounting of the skull, and then the donor’s name will appear alongside the displayed skull.

Dr. Matthew Cryer, a physician and dentist in the early 1900s, prepared a bilateral cross section of a human face in order to study the development of oral and sinus cavity formation and development. There are over 400 similar samples in the museum’s collection.
