Found some very pretty flowers growing on the way to the gym lol. Also I just have one exam and then I am going back home for a week!! So excited!

And let me be a reminder to keep all your money and wallets safe, cause somebody stole all my cash from my wallet and I didn't even realize T_T. That was a sad sad day sigh, but what can I do about it now...

Trying to recap my previous semesters cosmology course, as i have a meeting with the cosmology prof regarding doing my bachelor in the cosmo group in a few days! I’m a bit nervous and don’t really know what to expect, but excited nonetheless

day 13 of my autumn studying challenge!:

• which one do you prefer: digital devices and online platforms or notebooks and books? and why?

so… i used to and won’t lie still adore cute notebooks and stationery in general. however i went a little too far because i realized i was buying too many notebooks and not using them at all. so much paper waste. then i decided to switch to digital note-taking (when i also had the opportunity economically) and gave most of my notebooks to those who need, and still use some of them. but for reading… i just can’t give up on books. i love holding them and feeling the pages so i still do not prefer reading e-books.

-> aaaaagh i spent so many hours at my fav bookstore today<3 it’s in the building where my favorite author used to live!!! can you imagine how much i love being there?? i was looking for a book to get my friend for her b-day. then, not gonna lie, i went back to get myself a book too ehehe! then i took a walk to my dorm and spent the evening reading the notes our prof sent us which will be our, especially mine as my part is the most related one to it, guide for our presentation on monday. i’ll start working on the presentation tomorrow!

day 12 of my autumn studying challenge!:

• do you have any studying methods you use? if so, share them with us (please *sobs*)!

writing is the only method i know :(. i can remember if i write what i’m learning and it also helps to read it out loud as if giving lecture. and that’s it *sobs again*.

-> today i just revisited some notes before my mid-term and let me tell you this: i rocked it ehehehe! then i treated myself with a filter coffee with millk before the next class :].

sunday study sesh with friends. surprisingly, we were productive. i finished a sql lab and studied marketing. the weather was dark and stormy—perfect for a day inside.

It's been a week since uni started for me! I'm getting used to this new routine of commuting and studying pretty well. Most of my lecturers are really nice and I love my classes so far (which is always a relief lol). I feel super determined to do my best but also to just enjoy myself - I get to study my beloved chemistry and that's what matters here 🥰

Watching a chemistry lecture recording and enjoying a nice coffee. This subject isn’t too hard but it isn’t too kind to me either - I love the practical parts, I appreciate the theory but practicing it can become so tedious that I forget and then fail the exams anyways. Hoping to turn that around!

22.10.2022 || My 5th semester of medical school starts with a 2 week statistics block. My exam will be on Friday, so wish me luck! I am motivated to learn everything, because I know that it will need it as a researcher. xo Lux
