Well that was fun!!! 20.4 with the #owlas @katiemaydoris @ilikeitalexa @alliemacisaac at @crossfit1855 !! I only got halfway through (I can’t do pistol squats 🤷🏻‍♀️) but i was happy doing it Rx because I’m fairly certain that’s the most times I’ve Cleaned 115# in a session haha #sortapr My technique is passable but firmly in the #needsimprovement category, so I’m kind of glad the pistols kept me from heavier weights. Almost at the end of testing week. Hubby and I tested our 1RMs for front squats and deadlifts today 💪🏻💪🏻 @nakedprogram 245# front squat for an #accidentalpr because I forgot what weight I had PRd 16weeks ago. ➡️➡️ 350# deadlift for the most I’ve deadlifted in quite a while. Mixed emotions about today’s training. Matched my 1RM on bench @ 175# for a paused single (thanks @liam.oneilll for the lift off and @comeback_queen for the cheers) but then I failed my 2Rep PR attempt on #OHP 🤷🏻‍♀️ I could get upset but I choose to have a laugh and move on — looking forward to my new program starting Friday. This year I decided that I needed to work on my overall “fitness” by doing new things and getting my heart pumping. What better way to kick it off than with a @beachbody #transform20 group at work!! Yesterday’s program included a 12 minute cluster of deadlifts at 285# with the intention of maximum high quality singles in that timeframe. After all of the deliciousness this #thiccmas I was feeling pretty spiffy and claimed 12 reps.
