On your drawing of the BVM: that's why I adore how Our Lady of Guadalupe is drawn as Latino, and and how Our Lady of La Vang is drawn as Vietnamese. She appears to us as we are to her. One person to another.

oh my gosh im so sorry i just saw this! yes i sooooo agree -- one person to another!! bernadette clearly felt Safe and Seen by our lady of lourdes, and it just makes me so ?? sad ?? that all the portrayals we have of her feel so ... cliche? marketable? i don't know the right word.

ALSO not that my art of her is Superior(tm), i just wish people would have the courage to make art of the BVM as like??? a gentle human woman??? yknow what i mean??
