A little bit about me (IN ENGLISH)

Hello. My name is Samanta and I'm from Latvia🇱🇻. I'm studying and working as Nurse Asisstant and my whole life I wanted to be in medical field. In high school I realised I want to be a surgeon💪🏻

Last year after high school I applied to Medical Faculty (MF) at Rīgas Stradiņš university (RSU) but sadly didn't get in. I got in Doctor asisstant programme that year and went to Liepāja to study in RSU Liepāja branch as Doctor asisstant😁 After year of studying I quit that programme on June 8th 2020 witch was the hardest decision yet in my life that I made😔

In summer I got job as "sanitārs" in Childrens hospital Oncology ward in Rīga. 😍

I also re-wrote my high school biology exam since I realised ut had too low score to get in med school. But I failed and got a bit lower score than previously. When I applied to RSU for 2nd time I showed my biology score with higher score as we can show any of exams when we re-take them. But sadly it didn't help and I failed to get into RSU 2nd time. But I did apply to Nurse Asisstant programme so I didn't waste my year and that programme is 1 year long as well.

So I started to study as Nurse Asisstant on september 2020. And I was promoted to be junior Nurse Asisstant in my job as well and now I was allowed to work at night shifts too.

But I haven't given up on RSU MF yet and will try for my 3rd time in summer. And I am re-taking biology exam again but in addition I'm also re-taking Latvian language and math exam as starting from last year they also need math exam score.

So that is small study journey of me for now. 😇
