There is something so inherently funny to me about this particular option. You wake up in a groggy state and he is just standing there at the edge of the bed!

It was hard to say he did… when he didn’t. 

Saeyoung Choi was a man defined by countless measures that seemingly went beyond digits that could be counted on your hands. 

He was a man with a lot of faces and a lot of identities, and it was endless darkness that kept the person who he hid away by lock and key by his own choices. 

For so long, it felt like he wasn’t complete. 

It was like he was keeping himself from being one person because he didn’t think that he could deserve to be himself when his twin wasn’t by his side.

He spent so long hiding his face because he wanted to keep himself from being happy. As long as he didn’t know how Saeran was living, he was willing to live in the shadows, sad, and discontent. 

That changed somewhat when Rika gave him that disc. He thought he saw his twin happy and free to watch the sky as much as he wanted, but that was a falsehood that he would later blame himself for believing from day one. 

His life crumble and shattered around him and if it hadn’t been for you, he may not have had faith in his ability to fight back.

Saeyoung would have done anything for his loved ones, but you were the one that told him that he, himself, could be someone that he deserved to love just as much as he loved his family. 

You smiled at him and gave him a reason to believe again. A reason to take a risk on himself, and on the freedom that he always chased after but couldn’t touch.

Because a part of him was scared of freedom and the other part wanted Saeran to see it well before he ever did. 

Tonight, as he laid by your side, he thought about how you helped him complete the puzzle of his life without hesitation. His arms curled around your center as his lips brushed against the nape of your neck. 

He never thought nor did he expected that things would turn out like this, living safely in his bunker with you and Saeran, all the way his life belonged to himself.

You made Saeyoung feel more and more complete. You made it feel like his puzzle had been solved and there were no more missing pieces beyond his reach. 

You smiled at him and his heart felt like it was fluttering as free as bird. If you didn’t know, he would remind you every single day that you gave him the chance to smile without fear in his heart.

“I’ll love you forever and always,” he murmured. 

You may have been asleep but you always leaned back into his grasp whenever he spoke to you at night like this. It was like your heart was searching for him regardless of where your mind was. It’d always made him feel safe and desired in this life. Today was his birthday, but the true gift was the love you gave him the chance to feel.

I've been having sore throat for the past few days to the point of losing my voice and all I can do is whisper what I want to say to people when they talk to me. How I wish to be taken care of quietly by Saeran without me needing to whisper because even that is hurting my throat at some point :'(

GE Saeran would be on top of it before you could even blink! His gentle hands would settle you back into bed so you can rest, and while you take a nap in the afternoon, he'll bring you some soothing tea to heal your voice. You don't need to say a word for him to know what you mean, but he'll make sure you have your phone so you can text him! If you don't like that, he'll get you something to write down your thoughts. As long as you have what you need, he'll make sure it never goes missing!

"My love, take it easy, okay? You don't need to strain yourself anymore. I'll protect your voice the way you've protected me... with gentle love and affirmation. So, drink this warm tea, okay? You'll be back to your normal in no-time!"

There was never any doubt in my mind that he would look back. He will always look back at the person he loves when they need him. It would be impossible for him to keep walking if you cried his name for any reason, because to love is to look.
