What about a Whumper who brands a tally onto their multiple whumpees’ backs every time they use one of them

Some of the more brainwashed whumpees see it as something to show off about, “look at how much master loves/wants me”

More defiant ones wish they could rub them off, dreading each time the tally count gets bigger

They pity the ones who have tally marks going all the way down their backs

New whumpees see the marks in confusion, wondering what they could possibly mean. They find out soon enough

Sometimes Whumper treats whumpees with more tallies better—gives them more rest or more food because they’ve given them the most service

Whumpees with less than ten marks are belittled and tormented, not only by Whumper but by the other whumpees. “You have it easy, you’ve only been used twice.”

This causes those whumpees to beg Whumper for more, to use them

no matter how terrible my day is. i can always end my day in bed imagining fictional characters making out sloppy style and fucking raw. and that's beautiful. there's some good in this world mister frodo and it's worth fighting for

I think the reason sick whump hold such a special place in my heart is that, relatively speaking, you don't see it that often in canon media? Like, characters being injured in books/films/tv is pretty standard I'd say. Maybe not to the detailed whumpy levels we'd all like it to be, but if I think about it pretty much every character I've viewed as a potential whumpee has actually suffered some form of injury or another (often more than once) within their respective media.

But illness? You just don't see it as often. And I'm not sure why - but I'd guess probably because it tends to leave characters in a stagnant state; an injury can be attained while Actively Doing Something Plot Relevant, so even if the aftercare is shown offscreen [ugh], the actual Getting Hurt part can be part of the plot - whereas sickness holds focus on a character within that state of infirmity, and most mainstream audiences would probably see it as uninteresting to watch or read.

So when it comes to imagining my faves being hurt, well, it's still great but I likely have already seen them hurt within whatever media they're a part of. But imagining them being sick...now that requires some more imagination on my part. There's a ~mystique~ to it. It feels like a more personal show of the character's vulnerability because it likely hasn't actually been shown before, so it's like a little secret that I get to figure out on my own.

thinking about unexpected size difference with whumpers and whumpees.

small, petite whumpers with their huge, intimidating whumpees. maybe they're muscular, maybe they're fat, maybe they're both -- either way, they look like they could crush whumpee in between their fingers. and yet here they are, kneeling like a good pet, all decked out in shiny jewels, wearing pretty outfits that show off their hulking bodies.

maybe they're silent in their submission, playing out gruesome fantasies of killing whumper as they let delicate, elegant fingers trace the fresh set of scars on their back. or maybe they're reverent, utterly devoted, vowing to protect this small, fragile thing that causes them so much unimaginable pain.
