Dodging back from the bite, Cerulean slashes upward for an attempt to hit the other. He wasn’t sure if he would hit him or not but he’d rather try than have his throat torn out. If the being really was trying to kill him, why did he seem almost excited? Seeing his enthusiasm got Cerulean in the mood, violence or otherwise or both, he wasn’t sure. He just knew one of them would end up on top.
“I’m ready for you, darlin’.” Maybe wording it that way wasn’t smart but he’d roll with it. The wound still bled and he knew he wouldn’t last much longer so he would need to end it before his strength gave out. Lashing out, he hoped he hit something to at least slow the other down.

Cerulean sneered at the mocking but rather enjoyed someone pushing back against him. He flipped the knife, facing the other with his guard up. As tempted as he was to release his wings and go full out, he couldn’t take the chance of being seen. Testing what he could do for now and in his full human form would help him figure out his limits.
“Bring it on then, bird boy. Show me what you got.” The bravado wouldn’t last he knew, not for long, and the longer this last the slower he would become. He put a hand over the sluggishly bleeding wound on his side, hoping there wasn’t anything vital hit.
“I’m gonna ruin ya, boy.” A mad grin stretches across his face. “Don’t expect ta be able ta walk by the time I’m done wit ya.”
He throws himself at Cerulean. Primaries flash out, ready to tear flesh and bone. The craving to have this little being beneath him, victorious, grows into a rabid fever. Blood scent fills the air, saccharine and tantalizing. Frenzied with blood-lust and adrenaline, his body throbs with the violence singing in his heart.
“C’mon sweet thing, lemme give ya a show.” He’s in close, teeth within snapping distance of Cerulean’s throat.
