the anons on MXRP are getting worse. in the main group chat i frequent over the past few days they have:

- spam requested username exchanges to multiple members of the chat

- when asked why been annoyingly cryptic

- attempted to impersonate a mod

- set up a message in a way that tricked you into thinking it was a message request and clicking either confirm nor deny would send you to their pm

- have gotten ahold of my discord

- are using sasori usersnames to try and get me baited specifically??? which is fucking weird dude i’m not stupid

Multiple chats have been having this problem and most of them, including the one I frequent, are on autosilence now. We ban them, but every time they come back. We had a real site staff come into the chat last night and took care of one from then, but they’re still coming back. we have no idea what these anons want or why they’re doing this

it sounds like you have a stalker in your chat. in an old chat i used to be in years ago this little creep named dan would keep bugging people for their usernames so he could send creepy shit to them. he's forced several chats to go private because he kept going into the unlisted ones by saving the url. idk if its like this now but back then all you needed was someones username and a fake email generator to harass them in dms. if they're acting strange / send a request for your username ban them

i’m not a mod in the chat that it happened in and there were no mods w ban privileges on at the time, they’ve been banned now since the main mod came back online but i’m still just wondering why it happened bc it’s the second time it’s happened in this chat
