4 to 3 squares

4 to 3 squares

Did anyone notice in early 1988 (29th Feb) the comic strip went from 4 squares to 3?

It just looks odd after being so used to 4 squares 🤔

At first I thought it was a one off but scanning ahead in the book (The Complete Peanuts) it stays at 3.

Just wondering if there was a reason for this change. In the book it also looks like the width is now smaller so maybe the size of the strip (wherever it was primarily published) was reduced in width?

Anyone been to a Cedar Fair park?

Anyone been to a Cedar Fair park?

They have Snoopy and the gang. Cedar Fair bought out Knott's, which used the Peanuts, in 1997, and now they use them everywhere. I've been to Dorney Park since it is closer to where I live (NYC), I met Peppermint, Sally, and Pig Pen. I'm going to Cedar Point soon, hopefully I meet Snoopy.

If you have met the characters, what have you told them? Danny (who went to Dorney with me) asked Sally if Charlie was giving her trouble and what her favourite holiday was. I wanted to ask Pig Pen if he thought about being clean, but I had no time because I had to meet Danny by Talon. Maybe I should bring a football for Charlie if he shows at Cedar Point.

Trying to find an episode from my childhood!

Trying to find an episode from my childhood!

Hello all! So when I was a kid back in the 90s, I recall renting some Peanuts videos and I absolutely fell in love with the episode/s. I was able to track down some clips on Youtube maybe around 10 years ago once, but never was able to find them again. I know one episode was Be My Valentine, but not sure if the following is from the same episode? I can't find anything when I try to google keywords on this!

I think it was Snoopy attempting to run several booths outside, maybe a ticket booth and then a popcorn booth and making a mess of things. Maybe lemonade too?

I want to at least watch this clip again soooo badly, it's one of the most nostalgic videos I can recall from my childhood! Thanks in advance for the help! :)
