I originally thought the colour was a bit too old for her. But later I realized that there hadn't been any other colour fit for her and this event. Such a shining lady~~lovely~
Sorry Kate. Your experiences were inconsequential compared to Meghan. This is JUST rude:
•
I suggest you listen to these with earphones. You can hear her say things like: “Stop it.” and “This is unreasonable.” “I’m not going to move my hand, this is my private life.”
I think Pippa (who I assume is with her) says: “Leave her alone.”
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge posing for the centenary edition of British Vogue.
“Josh [Olins] has captured the Duchess exactly as she is - full of life, with a great sense of humour, thoughtful and intelligent, and in fact, very beautiful. Not only do they reflect her love of the countryside, interest in photography and championing of the National Portrait Gallery as our very committed patron, but they also encapsulate what Vogue has always done so brilliantly - to pair the best photographers with the great personalities of the day, in order to reflect broader shifts in culture and society. We had fun in making and choosing these images, and I hope that comes across.“ - Nicholas Cullinan, director of the National Portrait Gallery
"As the interview wore on, I did find myself thinking about all the things that have been said about them – and about Kate in particular – over the long vacuum of the past eight years. Here sat a couple who know that they can never, ever divorce and who have responded to this by taking an incredibly long, hard and very, very thoughtful look at the question of marriage. And how did a lot of us respond? By dubbing her Waity Katie. Kind of pathetic, isn’t it? I thought of my wife Claudia, who collaborated with Kate on a series of jewellery pieces at Junior Jigsaw and reached a pretty firm conclusion in that period: ‘She’s a diamond; kind, loyal, decent, very beautiful. The Royal Family is exceptionally lucky to have her.’ And I thought of the Middleton parents, so often maligned for having the temerity to be successful in business and produce a happy, stable family. Honestly, I wonder what’s wrong with us sometimes.” - Tom Bradby
Shoppers in the busy Georgian market town of Holt spotted the Duchess of Cambridge in the High Street on Thursday afternoon .
Chloe Nelson who co-owns Nelson’s Eye Patch in the town spotted the Duchess of Cambridge in the town’s High Street just after 1pm.
She said: “She looked lovely in a tartan cape as she left the Antiques Emporium and headed up the high street, what a great ambassador for shopping in local independent shops.”
She added that it did not look like anyone else was with the Duchess other than a bodyguard but added that she had “quite a few bags”.
It is not the first time the Duchess has visited the town, last year she visited the Mews Antique Emporium, which sells antique furniture, clothing, books and collectables, with a group of friends. Shoppers in Fakenham also spotted her leaving an antiques store.
