We all know by now that some modders have been hacked and their script mods replaced with malicious malware. Hopefully none of my followers have been hit and if you have, I hope you've taken the necessary steps to safeguard your sensitive data. There has been a list of modders who's scripts are no longer safe to download circulating.
There are a number of ways to find out if you've been hit or not.
To quickly check if you have been compromised, press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run window. Enter “%AppData%/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/UserData” without the quotes in the prompt and hit OK. This will open up the folder the this particular malware uses. If there is a file in this folder called “Updater.exe”, you have unfortunately fallen victim to the malware. Some sites will tell you "we don't know what it does". In reality, this updater is designed to download, install and run a data collection app. Passwords, site tracking, bank routing -- all the worst case scenarios you can dream up regarding your personal information.
So, delete the folder if you find it and grab this:

Be aware that your antivirus and most malware detection software will not recognize a script mod as malware or virus.

Summary:
If Ranoch was bad, Thessia was even worse. Garrus knew those images would haunt his nightmares for a long time to come. He thought maybe the aftermath might haunt them for the rest of his life. Seeing his mate finally have a complete meltdown wasn't something he was prepared for.
I'm sure some of you are wondering why I haven't posted anything in the last several months. Life has not been kind. I'm watching my mother slowly lose her mind from Dementia and the inevitable end is approaching. If that was the worst of it, I might very well still be posting. It's a slow process and I'm coming to terms with it.
The next bomb to drop in my lap, right before Halloween, was the government booting me off medical coverage. I'm a disabled insulin pump dependent diabetic, but because they felt my husband makes a few dollars too much money, they decided I needed to be forced into the so-called insurance marketplace - biggest scam in the USA. The insurance I have covers almost nothing and they want a $9000 deductible before they'll even consider covering most of my prescriptions. I don't have that kind of money just lying around. All my supplies are out-of-pocket expenses now- more than $1000 a month. Some months we're choosing my medical over groceries and other bills.
Let's add insult to injury, shall we?
Around the same time, my kitchen sink developed a clog at the street level. Basically, a blockage somewhere between the apartment and the street piping. This was something my neighbors have been dumping down the drain. I fought my slumlord landlord for maintenance for 3+ months to get something done. In that time, my upstairs neighbors were flooding my kitchen daily. Sometimes that water reached halfway across my living room. I lost most of the cookware in my lower cabinets from foul smelling, corrosive water loaded with Drain-O or some other chemical they were pouring down their drain. The cabinets are ruined, there is black mold growing on the inner walls and the landlord refuses to do anything more. I am unable to move out of this hell-hole apartment. Now, more than ever, I'm trapped here due to medical expenses and fraudulent medical insurance.
If and when things settle down and/or return to something resembling normal again... I may be in the right mindset to start posting things again. At this point, I have no idea what to do.

Summary:
Getting the genophage cure dispersed is the team's top priority. Surviving long enough to return to the Normandy seems secondary at this point. Garrus is determined to do both.

Summary:
The City of the Ancients definitely isn't anything like Garrus might have expected it to be. He thought Liara might have been fascinated by the archeological aspects of the ruins. Personally, he just wanted out. The Reapers weren't making that an easy process.
