HAD ME @ HELLO! — chapter one, cotton candy & mystery girls 📝

Stella shoves another pinch of cotton candy in her mouth, before offering the stick of cotton candy to mark that was sitting on her left. Mark looks away from the lit up stage and smiles thankfully at her and grabs a pinch of the candy before he looks back at the stage, a look of concentration in his eyes as he waits for the next group to go on stage.

Stella lets out a small yawn before resting her head on souls' shoulder and closing her eyes. The flashing lights and the excited screams from the people in the rented arena was not helping with her headache she was feeling from the lack of sleep she had. She really wished she could go back in time and stop herself from playing those 3 extra overwatch matches. Soul doesn't look up from his phone while playing mobile Minecraft, he was used to stella resting her head on his shoulder.

“I feel like we have been here for hours” Wooyoung complained loudly as he reached over soul's lap to steal some of Stella's cotton candy. Stella opens her eyes and gives wooyoung a playful glare as she moves the rest of her cotton candy out of his reach. Wooyoung glares back at her before rolling his eyes and looking to Yeji who was on his other side, thinking of ways to annoy his bestie.

Stella takes a bite of her cotton candy before responding with an annoyed huff. “It's because we have.”

“There's only two more teams left to perform, it's almost over” Jisung informs his complaining friends as he re-reads the program for the dance competition. He had started to get a little nervous when he noticed that he and his friends were receiving a lot of stares, so he decided to distract himself by reading. The atoms dance crew was popular and well known around verse and the internet, but he still wasn't used to the stares. He knew the rest of his teammates were used to it, well besides stella…he's pretty sure she doesn't notice them in general.

“So, who do you guys' think is gonna win?’ Jaemin asks as he leans forward to look at all of them. Jisung opens his mouth to tell him who he thinks will win and why but gets cut off by Stella who answers faster.

“I think &Team is going to win.'' Stella says cheerfully with a smile, elbowing Mark in the side when he lets out a snicker at her response. The moment she had said her answer she regretted it; she knew where this would go. Her friends wouldn't waste the opportunity to tease her.

“You only want them to win because you’re in love with Nicholas” Wooyoung teases her, causing her to choke on air and cover her face in embarrassment when Jeno, Mark and Jaemin start laughing.

“Well now she's in love with someone else” Soul spoke for the first time in like 30 minutes, his eyes still on his screen. Stella slaps souls' shoulder and glances between him and Yeji. Her friends had stopped laughing and were looking at her, surprised that they didn't know this.

“Soul! Not so loud someone could hear you…wait how do you know that” Stella whispers in a confused tone at the end. Yeji and Chae were the only ones who knew about her new crush, okay well technically not new…it's been a few months. But still how the fuck did soul know that.

“Just because I'm on my phone doesn't mean I don't hear when you and Yeji start gossiping” Soul giggles as he looks up from his phone to smile at stella. Stella and Yeji did happen to gossip a few times in front of soul without realizing. Stella nods not knowing what to say, she glances at Yeji who shrugs her shoulders, also not knowing what to say.

“Uh are we going to skip past the fact that Stella is in love with someone else?” Jisung spoke aloud after a few moments of silence between the friends. He was surprised that Stella liked someone else. Stella had the biggest crush on Nicholas for a while, and when Stella liked someone, she really liked them. Before any of her friends could respond to jisung, the lights of the arena start flashing and the announcer starts talking. Perfect timing Stella thinks.

“Shh! The next crew is up” Stella speaks loudly as she shoves the rest of her cotton candy in her mouth. Her eyes squinted at the bright and colorful lights. She was excited to see who was going to go next. Her question was answered as the announcers announced the next crew.

“Next on the stage, Enhypen!”

Heeseung couldn't believe what was happening, he was in shock. Everything felt so surreal, the announcer shouting their dance crew as the winners, the loud screams and cheers from the audience, he just stood there in shock. He was only brought out of his trance when he felt someone hug him, he immediately recognized it was Jake who was hugging him tight by the sound of his dear friends' cheers of happiness.

Heeseungs look of shock turns to a big grin as he hugs Jake back. All around him were flashing lights and screaming fans who were shaking their glow sticks, they stood in the middle of the stage, all the attention on them. But all heeseung could focus on was his teammates, his best friends embracing each other, grins on their faces. They all wanted this so bad, to win this scholarship, to go to verse. And they did that. They won.

They didn't stay on stage for long, after the announcer asked Jungwon to say some words the announcer congratulated them again before Enhypen were ushered off the stage so the announcer can say the closing speech. Heeseung didn't care that their time on the stage was short, he preferred to celebrate with his teammates in private and not under the eyes of so many people.

Heeseung was walking between Jake and Sunoo and watched as Niki and Sunghoon walked in front of them, both of them still hype from their win. Niki was basically jumping up and down in excitement. Behind heeseung was jay and Jungwon, the dance crew walked down the hallway that led them backstage. The only thing heeseung could hear was the excited chatter from his friends, the sound of their shoes against the floor, and the faint sound of the announcer talking.

They stepped into the big and open room, and heeseung let Jake drag him over to the table that had some sweets. Jake was talking excitedly about the assortment of sweets. Heeseung tried to keep up with his hyper friend's words, but he just couldn't seem to catch up, he just nodded along and looked around the room for the rest of his teammates.

Niki and Jay were getting water and Sunoo and Sunghoon were standing in front of a fan to cool off, he didn't see Jungwon with them. Heeseung turned his head to the left towards the other side of the room, where the stairs and the elevator are. Standing by the entrance of the doors was Jungwon and he surprisingly wasn't alone. He was talking to a girl, a very pretty girl to be clear.

They both had a smile on their faces as they talked, the girl even laughing at whatever Jungwon had said. Heeseung found himself being absolutely captivated by her when she smiled again, who is she? Was the question that was repeating in his mind. The other question was, how did Jungwon know her? Heeseung is brought out his thoughts by the sound of Jake's voice.

“Heeseung, did you hear me?” Jake questions him, causing heeseung to look away from the mystery girl and Jungwon and back to jake. Heeseung gives him a small smile “Sorry what was that?”

“I was asking if you wanted anything” Jake asked him again as he motioned to the table of snacks.

“Oh, no I'm okay” Heeseung tells him, Jake nods and gives one more smile to heeseung before walking off to join Niki and Sunoo at the drinks table. Heeseung watched him leave before he felt an itch to turn around and look back at Jungwon and the pretty girl.

Heeseung looked back, but Jungwon was gone and so was she.

synopsis. an adorable sleepy and clingy gf, and a sweet and handsome bf…aka a perfect morning.

note. enhypen has totally wrecked me lately and I had this cute thought while on call with my bestie and I just had to write it 🤗

You rubbed the sleep from your eyes as you walked through your apartment, following the delicious smell of pancakes and the faint sound of classical music. Your footsteps were quiet and slow as you made sure not to slip on the tile of the kitchen floor, because of your fluffy socks that had no grips on the bottom of them, you may or may not have pulled them off a while ago.

You had woken up with a grumpy pout when you realized you were alone in bed. For a moment you thought that the wonderful and romantic night you had with your boyfriend was just a dream. But when you rolled over and still felt his warmth on the sheets, you knew it wasn't a dream. So, you groggily got out of bed, grabbed Jay's sweater that was on your chair and slipped it on.

Your grumpiness only faded when you saw your handsome boyfriend standing at the stove, his back to you as he flipped another pancake. You couldn't stop the smile forming on your lips at the sight. He was wearing a gray muscle shirt and a pair of his basketball shorts, his hair still messy from bed.

Your feet softly padded against the tile floor of the kitchen floor as you walked up behind him. You wrapped your sweater covered arms around his waist, and rested your head on his back, you closed your eyes, the bright light from the kitchen making them hurt. Jay doesn't flinch at your sudden touch, he expected that you would come waddling in seeking him when you woke up alone. He just knows you so well.

“Good morning love, sleep well?” Jay asked you as he took his hand that wasn't holding the spatula and placed it on your hands that were on his stomach. Your smile widens, it was crazy how a simple touch of his could make you feel. His voice was still littered with sleep, and it comforted you in a way knowing that he only left you a little bit ago.

You didn't have the energy to form words, so you just nodded against his back and mumbled out a soft “Mhm”

“Still tired?” Jay asked as he moved his hand from yours to sprinkle a few blueberries in your pancake batter, knowing that they're your favorite. He places his hand back on yours and instead moves his hand under one of your sleeves, his warm hand caressing your wrist. His soft touch and the warmth he has, only makes you sleepier.

“Let's go back to bed” you spoke but it came out muffled from your face being squished against his back. Your tone was a little whiny, as all you wanted to do was snuggle with Jay in bed, you wanted to be as close as you can with him for as long as you could before his manager calls him and tells him to come back to the dorms. You dreaded it when the time comes.

“I’m making you pancakes, you asked for them last night” he tells you as he flips another fluffy pancake, the top being perfectly golden. As much as he wanted to join you back in bed, you eating a good meal was more important to him. He smiles when he feels you hold onto him tighter, he absolutely loves your clinginess. Ahh adorable, he thinks lovingly.

“I said that before I was super tired, and before I knew my handsome boyfriend would leave me alone in bed” You playfully complained, letting out an annoyed huff. You were determined to get the two of you back in bed and under your fluffy duvet. You rub your bare legs together, hoping to warm them up from the coldness of your apartment. Jay chuckles at your words and you feel his body move with his laughter.

“Hmm i don't know, I remember you being pretty tired last night” Jay tells you in a teasing tone, a smirk on his face as he hints at the busy night the two of you had together. You immediately feel flustered and embarrassed at his words and you move one of your hands that were on his stomach to his side, softly pinching him and fighting the urge to bite his arm. Jay lets out a loud laugh as he turns off the stove, he loves teasing his girl.

“After we eat, we can watch that movie you wanted to” Jay compromised, remembering how excited you got when you showed him the trailer.

“You said the trailer was stupid” You mumbled with a cute pout as you looked back on the memory of the two of you in his dorm living room. At least Sunoo was excited to see it. Jay steps back from the stove, your body clinging and following him.

Jay patted your hand once before he turned around, a smile gracing his lips when finally took in the sight of his adorable and tired girlfriend. Your hair was still messy, your eyes showed evidence of you still being tired and you had that cute pout on your lips. He just wanted to grab your cheeks and smother your face in kisses. But instead, he just gives you an innocent smile, raising his eyebrow and pretending to be surprised by your words “Oh I said that aloud?”

“Jayyy” You whined with an annoyed huff, leaning forward and resting your forehead on his chest. Jay shakes his head at his girlfriend's dramatics, before moving his hand to the top of your head, softly patting it and smoothing your messy hair.

“We’ll eat first and then you can cuddle me as much as you want okay?” Jay hums fondly in a soft tone. You tilt your head up to look at him, your eyes locking. You give him a small nod of agreement and he smiles, moving his hand from your head to push back some of your hair on your forehead before softly kissing your forehead.

“Perfect, you get the drinks and I'll set the food on the table” he nods, softly kissing your nose. His heart erupts in warmth when you do that cute nose scrunch at the feeling of the kiss. You give him a sweet smile before moving away from him and over to the fridge, Jay watches you for a moment. Watching as you slowly waddle over to the cabinet pulling out two glasses.

Your breakfast was filled with quiet conversations, some teasing from Jay, you yawning and Jay feeding you some fruit, and of course you telling Jay many times that you love his pancakes, even teasing him back by saying you love his pancakes more than him. That earned you a poke to the side and a long kiss to your temple. In other words, your breakfast was perfect.

After helping your lovely boyfriend clean up the kitchen, you grabbed his hand and pulled him into the living room. Jay lays on the L sectional of your couch, you snuggle into his side and resting your head on his shoulder. While you worked the remote, Jay grabbed the blanket that was on the couch and covered you both in it. You smile and snuggle closer to your boyfriend, his hold on you not loosening.

“I love you pretty girl” Jay whispered to you as he looked down at you, he couldn't put all the love he felt for you into words. You looked away from the beginning credits of the movie and tilted your head up to look at your sweet boyfriend.

“I love you more my lovely.”

HAD ME @ HELLO! - the extras

SYNOPSIS: verse’s school of arts, a very popular and hard to get into academy, holds a dance competition a few weeks before the start of the new school year. the prize being a free scholarship to the arts academy. enhypen, a popular dance crew signs up, they win. Heeseung watches as his captain Jungwon bumps into a girl while he was celebrating and heeseung immediately feels drawn to her.

It's weeks later and school is about to start and Heeseung still can't get the pretty girl out of his mind. After his first day, he checks his phone and sees the enhypen group chat blowing up, and the last thing he expects to see was the pretty girl going viral…for being Jungwon’s ‘sister.’

LEE CHAERYEONG ( portrayed by HERSELF ) 18

(second year) chaeryeong used to be part of the atoms dance crew, but she got injured really bad and has to take a break with dancing. chaeryeong has taken it hard, not being able to dance. she try’s not to show that she’s really affected by it. She’s a lot like stella, as she gets compared to her older sister a lot, and it’s gotten harder since she’s injured and can’t dance. her and stella have been best friends since kindergarten, and tell each other everything. since chaeryeong can’t dance, she has been focusing more on photography, she finds it therapeutic. stella and chaeryeong are platonic soulmates.

LEE HAECHAN ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) Haechan is in charge of the VSOA newspaper. if there was a school president, he would most likely win. he’s literally friends with everyone and knows everything about everyone. Haechan is a very talented singer. Haechan is also in the theater club and makes the dance teams sign up. him and stella act like they hate each other, but at the end of the day they will be there for the other. he and stella are each others ‘bully’s’ (they secretly care about each other, just very secretly) Haechan used to work at Yeji’s family cafe but got fired because he kept on flirting with Yeji’s mom.

KANG SEULGI ( portrayed by HERSELF )

Seulgi is part of a very popular Girl Group called Red Velvet. Seulgi lives pretty far from her family but always try’s to text or call stella whenever she can. She’s not aware about all the pressure her sister is under, and that she’s compared to her. Seulgi loves her little sister and is always sending things to stella and finding ways to support her. Seulgi is a alumni of verse.

LEE CHAEYEON ( portrayed by HERSELF )

Chaeyeon is a famous dancer. She has been a backup dancer for many popular artists and she also does solo work. She kinda knows that her sister is compared to her, she just doesn’t know about all of it. Chaeyeon is also an alumni of verse, she is best friends with seulgi. they were part of the same dance crew and went to verse at the same time, her and seulgi absolutely love that there little sisters are best friends to. whenever her and seulgi come to visit, all the sisters get together and go hang out!

ANONYMOUS GOSSIP ACCOUNT

it’s an anonymous gossip account that posts drama/gossip/rumors of the students of verse. no one knows who it’s ran by, some people think it’s either Haechan or wooyoung who’s running it. the account is not afraid of exposing people, some people even send in tips for them to post. it gets intense sometimes.

SYNOPSIS: verse’s school of arts, a very popular and hard to get into academy, holds a dance competition a few weeks before the start of the new school year. the prize being a free scholarship to the arts academy. enhypen, a popular dance crew signs up, they win. Heeseung watches as his captain Jungwon bumps into a girl while he was celebrating and heeseung immediately feels drawn to her.

It's weeks later and school is about to start and Heeseung still can't get the pretty girl out of his mind. After his first day, he checks his phone and sees the enhypen group chat blowing up, and the last thing he expects to see was the pretty girl going viral…for being jungwon’s ‘sister’

LEE HEESEUNG ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) doesn’t really pay attention to people that aren’t his friends. he gets tired of the attention he gets from his ‘fan girls’. he’s normally quite and seems unapproachable when he’s not with his friends. he feels the most comfortable with his friends. he doesn’t have a good relationship with his parents, they don’t accept his passion for dance. he works at a record store. he enjoys riding the subway. he likes going to the park and playing basketball, normally at night. he’s a really good singer, but only his friends know that (he doesn’t like singing around people) he has a problem opening up about his feelings. he’s always there for his friends. sometimes he plays video games with Jake and niki. has been in one relationship and it ended badly, hasn’t been or wanted to be in a relationship since then. loves deers. #1 niki and jake lover

PARK JONG SEONG ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) jay shares a room with jake. most days he picks up sunoo and jungwon up for school. jays the designated cook at the apartment and is also in charge of choosing the outfits for the teams dance competitions. jay loves dance but his passion is fashion design. he’s always being teased by his friends, so sometimes he gets relentless with his teasing as well. he has a soft spot for jungwon, so he goes easy on him. him and heeseung are really close and feel comfortable opening up to each other about how they are feeling. sometimes surprises jungwon at the animal sanctuary and brings him food and drinks #1 jungwon fan

SIM JAE YUN ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) shares a room with jay and makes jay regret it everyday! either because he stays up late playing video games with niki and a mysterious overwatch player, or he wakes up super early to go to the gym. jake is super friendly and always try’s ways to make more friends. probably embarrasses himself once a day. gets virtually and sometimes physically attacked by niki everyday. heeseung is jakes favorite person and he makes that very clear. was a lifeguard for like 2 weeks before he quit because he was scared his skin would get bad. he’s oblivious to the fact that he’s a lady’s man. has a comfort stuffed animal dog, called Layla, he’s very attached to it #1 heeseung lover & niki hater (and secretly lover)

PARK SUNGHOON ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) he has his own room at the apartment. he got really popular on twt and insta for his modeling photos. he’s always late to the dance practices. he sends his grocery lists in the enhypen group chat and totally goes off on anyone who complains about it. he’s genuinely funny without trying. he’s kinda narcissistic…but like look at him, ofc he is. he knows he’s hot, and finds it very amusing that he has so many ‘fan girls’ he sometimes joins heeseung playing basketball. is obsessed with sunoo’s baking. sunghoon works at the ice rink. sunghoon knows of Stella because there dads work together, they have talked a few times, but that was years ago. #1 sunoo hater and lover

KIM SEON WOO ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) sunoo works at a ice cream shop, but is thinking about quitting, and working at a cafe he has went to a few times. his friends get confused how he seems to just know everyone (he’s just really friendly) he knows everything about everyone. he’s the one who came up with there weekly movie nights. sunoo bakes whenever he’s stressed. can get sassy and witty but his friends are used to it. had an anonymous gossip account that got popular, but he lost the password and can’t get back in. only niki and sunghoon know that he was behind the account. knows how to play the piano and likes to send melodies to heeseung so he could sing to them (that’s a secret between the two of them) has a fear that his twt drafts will accidentally get posted (some juicy gossip fr) #1 sunghoon lover and hater

YANG JUNGWON ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) he’s a tired dance captain for real. he’s the second youngest but acts and feels like the oldest. jungwon is genuinely the sweetest person and wants the best for his teammates. he calls niki every morning because he knows that niki most likely slept through or turned off his alarm clock. him and sunoo are neighbors and have known each other the longest. jungwon has a treehouse in his back yard that he and sunoo have played in since they were kids, niki is the only other person who has went inside (they have sleepovers, and niki terrorizes them with his scary story’s) he volunteers at the animal sanctuary. #1 jay lover

NISHIMURA RIKI ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 17

(first year) niki is the youngest member of enhypen. he is actually the most chaotic person ever, and is always finding a way to tease/troll the other members. niki is an absolute dance machine, he loves dancing. the first game he ever played was just dance. even though he stays up most of the night playing video games, he’s always energetic. his most played game is overwatch and he has been queuing with the same person and he can’t stop bragging about how good they are in the enhypen group chat. they have never talked in voice chat but niki swears he’s in love with them. he genuinely has dirt on everyone. a very talented drawer #1 jake teaser & lover

(Second year) Stella has an obsession with otters and otter pops. She’s a sweet girl, sometimes too sweet, her friends get a little worried that her kindness will get taken advantage of (her friends are protective) Stella can sometimes get a little chaotic, usually when she’s on a sugar high. she helps out at Yeji’s family cafe whenever they need it, Yeji’s parents have offered a job, but stella has declined because she’s too busy with dance and her studies. she’s pretty oblivious to the fact the people have crushes on her. stella has a older sister, Seulgi, who is an alumni of verse and a famous dancer. stella has been compared to her older sister all her life. she’s under a lot of pressure and stress by her mother, who compares the two sisters the most. stella is known around the academy for being a pretty girl and being friendly. loves playing overwatch, and most of the time stays up late to play it. #1 Jeno defender & lover!

LEE MARK ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 20

(fourth year) Mark is the captain of the atoms and is in his last year. he definitely feels like a single dad with having to take care of his teammates. he is very popular and is loved by many teachers, he’s always willing to help anyone even if he’s busy. he won’t say it aloud but he’s very emotional about being in his last year and having to leave the team, he cares very much for his teammates. he’s always having to remind his teammate about things in the group chat. if he’s not with his teammate he’s probably with his best friend johnny. has known stella since they were kids. #1 jisung defender.

LEE JENO ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 20

(fourth year) Jeno is also in his last year, he is a very passionate dancer. he probably texts the least amount in the gc and barely knows how twt works (stella and soul had a blast teaching him how to use snapchat) he’s not the oldest but sometimes he feels like it. he gets teased a lot, most of it being from jisung and wooyoung (evil twins fr) most of the time he is with his ‘bestie’ jaemin. a lot of people go to him for advice. jeno is extremely popular amongst the students, almost everyone in the school probably has a had a crush on him at one point in their life. he works at a sports shop with wooyoung. also has known stella since they were kids, and knows about her struggles with her mother. #1 mark teaser

PARK JISUNG ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) jisung is probably the most passionate about dance. if he’s not at dance practice or helping take care of his little brother, he’s doing dance lessons. jisung is pretty shy overall when he’s around others that’s not his teammates. jisung is another person that gets teased a lot in the gc, mostly by yeji and jeno sometimes stella joins in. jisung is the ace of the team, and everyone knows that when mark graduates, jisung will become captain. jisung is pretty clueless, specifically to sarcasm. always early to dance practice, he sometimes gets there before mark does. #1 yeji teaser

JUNG WOOYOUNG ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 18

(second year) wooyoung is the life of the party, he is pretty popular. wooyoung is clingy to all his friends, and always sends them all good morning and goodnight texts. wooyoung is very good friends with another dance crew called ‘ateez’ wooyoung was apart of the dance crew in middle school, but he left it when he got accepted into verse. stella likes to tease him all the time that he got kicked out of ateez. he works at sports shop with jeno, and he absolutely loves it. he also absolutely loves messing with stella, he’s always finding a way to tease her. he’s also her biggest fan boy. #1 stella teaser

HAKU SHOTA ( portrayed by HIMSELF ) 16

(first year) soul is the youngest member of the atoms dance crew, and a transfer from japan (he skipped a grade) when chaeryeong got injured and had to leave the team, soul was her replacement. soul is usually quite but has his loud moments (usually when he gets a sugar high from all the otter pops stella feeds him) soul can almost always be found with his nintendo switch in his hand playing minecraft, or in the dance studio. unofficially adopted by stella and yeji. #1 wooyoung teaser.

HWANG YEJI ( portrayed by HERSELF ) 18

(second year) yeji is a very talented dancer but her passion is digital design. yeji is pretty popular, but a lot of people don’t come up to her, her resting bitch face is pretty intimidating. yeji is a part time worker at her family’s cafe, she is always bringing free coffee for mark and jeno (tired parent fr) she has a love hate relationship with jisung, and she won’t admit it aloud but wooyoung is her best friend. she is in a secret relationship, she’s afraid that her friends won’t accept who she’s with. stella goes to yeji a lot for advice because yeji isn’t afraid to tell the truth of the situation. has a habit of being late to dance practice. #1 stella defender.
