S17 wish - Mac and Dennis break up 2 electric boogaloo and it starts in the same way, very comedic and silly and then the tone gradually changes throughout the episode to become increasingly dramatic and delves into their 30 plus year codependency with no punchline or resolution and we all cry and make gifsets

Like i have this funny scenario in my head where charlie challenges dennis to a drawing competition nd dennis draws a near realistic portrait of charlie while charlie vaguely scribbles out dennis but the rest of the gang is just like 'omg charlie i didnt know u cud draw'

Love that after Mac came out as gay, he and Dee stay each other’s number 1 haters.

They didn’t try to force a gay best friend type of relationship, there’s no solidarity there at all. It’d be different if she was lesbian and it was like mlm and wlw hostility, but it’s just straight up hostility and I deeply respect their refusal to pander to the typical gay man-woman relationship and their commitment to keeping their characters consistent.

(Not that I’d be opposed to an occasional fun macdee episode but them being each-others opps is so much funnier)
