"Well, you know, not all vampires are alike, are they?" Roman asked, flashing a bright smile. He closed the door behind him, immediately going to the kitchen and taking down two wine glasses. He already had a few wine bottles lining the table, having placed them there earlier. "Which one would you like?"

"I don’t know," Gen sighed softly, a light smile gracing her lips. "I’ve called many things, but kind is not usually one of them." She allowed Roman to take her hand, only somewhat reluctant. His skin felt ice cold against her warmth. A shiver raced down her spine, but she kept her smile in place. She followed him to a back room, which she assumed to be his. "Im famished, actually."
