Redbird's Circus

World Circus Day: Trotski's Circus (Prime Earth)

The third Saturday of April is World Circus Day, which is today (16 April) and this year I want to concentrate on the unnamed Russian circus that Jason Todd and his Outlaws went undercover in by doing a photoset of named characters. When Jason Todd as Red Hood discovers a new wave of criminal activity in Gotham City with a traveling circus at its epicenter, he recruits his older brother, Dick Grayson, to help the Outlaws infiltrate the big top. Bird King Today is Bruce Wayne's birthday (19 February) and to celebrate this auspicious day, I thought it would be apropos to do a photoset of Bruce Wayne as Robin King. The Robin King is a homicidal young Bruce Wayne from the Dark Multiverse serving the Batman Who Laughs. The Robin King represents Bruce's fear that he was always broken deep inside, and that the death of his parents was ultimately just an excuse for the darkness and violence that was always inside of him.
