Adventurous Start
At the start of the year 2014, had I known that I will be chasing something out of the box as described by one of my friends. I thought this year I will graduate and hopefully will have a job at some company, have a good boring life or normal as most of us out there feel. But after 6 months, when I graduated and I didn't get any placements. Then as I known myself being adventurous did the most adventurous thing I think till date. The most unexpected move of my life, going out of the country itself. Yeah, On 21 August 2014 at 2.00 AM in the morning, I boarded the flight which will completely change my life. And now 3 months hence, I am here in Thunder Bay Ontario enjoying the freezing rain and awesome snowfalls.
It has been one of the best experiences of my life, coming out of my country, my comfort zone and experiencing a new different world here. A different culture, and trying to settle down. An Expatriate, if explained in business terms. I like this city, it been good to me. It is a nice city having lake superior by its side. Hence we can sit as long as we want over there and enjoy the calmness of the lake. Weather, as I can see, is harsh here. It already snowing like hell.
People here are very friendly. They are helpful and stuff. but yeah, they don't talk to each other that much. They are a little bit cold on that part. Here the weird thing is people are very friendly but they don't talk much. They mind their own business most of the time. The advantage we can say is that people respect others privacy and don't mingle with others space.
When I look back to the year 2014, I get nostalgic. Even when I talk to people here, I feel disturbed since everyone had planned their life perfectly well, but in my case, it is an adventure. A complete adventure. All my decisions were made haphazardly and out of the blue. Nothing was planned. In other's case, they have planned to get an engineering degree and have a job and stuff. But in my case, it was all sudden decisions. I didn't even know what would I do until I got a text and moved on to pursue my engineering.
My life up till now has been a complete adventure. I am scared of what future has in store for me but at the same time excited
