Found Tower of God end of March this year because of YT recommending me 2nd season trailer. I checked out the opening for the first season, fell in love with it, started to watch the anime (binged it in 2 days) and then binge read the webtoon until today, when I reached the latest chapter available (chapter 607).

On my road to catch up with the manhwa in little more than 2 weeks I also downloaded the game (Great Journey).

Needless to say I'm obsessed. I love ToG and the art evolution of the author is just beautiful to see. Now that I'm all caught up, the waiting game begins...

Can't wait for the next chapter!!

Hello there!

I'm wondering, and I know it would be a bit of extra work, but could you maybe put in a color palette on the description of the characters?

I always have a hard time imagine skin and hair colors and Google often shows different shades etc...

I'd like to doodle some of the characters at some point and while I might not even publish these, I want to be as true as possible. While I could potentially use artistic freedom for hair colors and do with different shades etc, I won't do that for skin colors so a color palettes could be my best bet.

I of course would understand if that's too much work, in that case I apologize in advance!

So I’ve been thinking a lot about this question for the past few days (which is why it’s taken me so long to answer 😅).

I’ve debated a lot about what you’re talking about, basically creating a vision board for my characters, and I honestly don’t think I can do it.

It’s not even that it would be hard, but I’m just not the type of person to go about creating things like that. I’m not as creative as I like to think I am 🙃.

BUT I did decide to try and see if I can find a character creator to give a base look of all the counselors. I stumbled upon Picrew and I’m going to update all the intro posts with these photos to give folks a base line on how the counselors look.

While there are a few things I wish I could change (mostly clothing) I’m very happy with them overall.

BUT PART 2, I also notice that you specifically ask about the color palette. That’s something that I actually never really thought about, I think that would actually be easier for me to do but it would be something I’d have to think about. When I think about most of the counselors I just think of a mix of blacks, whites, greens and browns. So that’s probably something for me to think about.

(Also while making these, I realized that most of the counselors have brown hair. I played myself forgetting about that cause I was POSITIVE four of them had black hair. Nope. 7 browns, 3 blondes, 2 black, and 1 ginger.)

So...new year, new art!

The tiny doodle on AK's website (that I showed a screenshot of here) aside, I haven't drawn or posted anything yet!

I kinda felt to try to draw Ash from @vendetta-if again. The first time I drew male Ash was July 2022 and again in August 2022, I posted both drawings October 2023.

I feel (hope) I improved by now and that's why I chose Ash again :D

I like them as a character a lot. But I'm not sure if I would say they're my fav RO, because I honestly like all of them so far! I do kinda wanna draw them all at some point as well as my MC lol

He is often seen with a confident and polite smile that shows off the dimple in his left cheek, his skin tanned honey-brown from hours of martial training under the sun. You usually see him in his black and crimson Samjogo's uniform, but he prefers to wear simple pine-green robes when not on duty.

LEE WOOYOUNG (이우영) — THE DEVIANT NOBLEMAN

A lively, easygoing nobleman who is more often seen with a smile on his face than not. APPEARANCE

Of average height, Wooyoung is exceeding handsome with well defined features, a strong jawline and guileless eyes that are hard to not immediately like. He keeps a short fringe swept to the side while the rest is kept behind him in a short and messy ponytail.

The corners of his mouth are perpetually upturned, and he always appears to be in a good mood. He has a small beauty mark at the corner of his right eye. He's often seen in casual robes, and is always accompanied by a sword at his side that you've never seen unsheathed...
