I’ve been Troubled again by the haters. an ngo anarchist again said she won’t support the abortion fund because she doesn’t like socialists. she’s been going around characterizing us as like brocialists— I can’t say that this doesn’t happen even when it’s just me a cis woman, because it happens every time, but it’s just crazy how they can get away with even trying that when it’s a trans woman (which other than me it basically is—obviously). i wouldn’t think twice about it except as you know if you’ve been following along, she organizes primarily with two men who we have accused of stalking and harassing us for years (and as you recall we’re not the only ones). she’s doing this in an organization with no democratic structure for recourse in this. she’s a paid organizer with a state ngo who has taken over a local advocacy org, she’s claiming to do this to “reform the ngo from the inside.” she’s organizing with almost exclusively men who have accusations against them. and she’s spending her time discrediting local non ngo abortionist women who have made accusations against guys she’s likes.

and i want to fight back, and i want to ruin their reputation. but (affirmations) : they don’t have a reputation. they don’t have credibility. they haven’t paid for ten peoples abortions. they aren’t building anything. nobody knows them. they’re not winning! they are not fighting for life.

I got a few of these gorgeous holo abortion access stickers from Aria and have been giving them out but people have been going absolutely crazy for them (two girls in the womens group put them on their skateboards!) so I decided to have a bunch printed and sell them at our tabling events. i have to pay for them out of pocket and they’ll be like $1.60/e for 50 or closer to $1/e for 100. i don’t really think i can sell 100 of them and honestly i don’t have the extra money to do it but the deal is temptingg. i’m going to offer them in exchange for a minimum of $5 donation to the fund

the griping part is i brought the proposal to the meeting (give me $120 for stickers and button and tabling supplies). i just wanted something we could vote on lol for morale but they were like you don’t need to vote you can just fill out a form and we’ll get it to you. but they won’t get me the form. also never once in the time of my membership have they actually reimbursed me for things that were approved to be reimbursed

i don’t 100% think fundraiser materials with a non union print shop (as the high turnaround holo stickers go) is the most appropriate use of funds but it’s not a ton of money to the chapter vs to me who makes 23k a year here at the height of my career plus i’m saving the chapter sooo

successfully got fed by events/friends for two days in a row. last night i picked up a few essentials and had my own yogurt (with scavenged granola) for breakfast, but lunch and snacks have also been free stuff. i’ll make my own dinner tonight. tomorrow patrick and i are getting panera en route to judge the children’s history projects bc we want death lemonade. they’re gonna lightly feed us at the competition then i may angle for going out to eat after…
