Starting "proper" intentional training for the pastoral pup, working to get him qualified as a therapy dog, so alongside my chaplain duties, he might offer his ministry of cuddles at hospital/hospice. 5 years ago, this old, many-times-loved Stole was given to me as a pass-it-on gift by the hospice chaplain I did a placement with, while still at theological college (vicar school). I wore it at my ordination as Priest as I felt pastoral ministry & care of the sick were important in my priestly calling.
