While we’re at it, this campaign season isn’t “Crazy”, Trump is just awful.  Every WTF moment I can think of was either Trump doing something despicable, Trump saying something despicable, Trump telling a lie claiming someone else did something despicable, or one of his surrogates or supporters doing one of the above.

Water utilities typically charge based on unit usage (although it's often disguised as a "sewer charge"), give commercial customers a better rate and absolutely will come to your house and shut off your water if you use too much.  ("Too much" typically being in quantities large enough to indicate you just leave it running all the time...the way some people leave bit torrents running 24/7).
So, maybe compare the internet it to the road system instead?  You know, like it was some sort of "information superhighway."
Comcast is considering imposing monthly usage limits for all of its Internet customers.
David Cohen, executive vice president of America’s largest cable company, predicted at a conference Wednesday that in five years’ time, the company will have “a usage-based billing model rolled out across its footprint.”
That means Comcast customers could only consume a certain amount of data before facing extra charges for going over their limits.
Internet should be delivered like water. Can you imagine your water utility deciding that it’s going to deliver a certain amount of water to your home, and then shut it off after an arbitrary limit, unless you pay more? What about delivering water faster or at better quality to people who pay more for it? It’s unthinkable.
Companies like Comcast, Time Warner, Verizon and AT&T are using publicly-funded infrastructure (in addition to whatever the companies have built themselves) and should not be allowed to act in a way that’s counter to the public interest.

If they were willing to just leave women alone to do their own thing they wouldn't be very good misogynists now would they?
My mind is always boggled as to why misogynists would follow me in the first place.

Can this be your next one-off comic?
Come to Australia! Please
I read this right after I woke up from a dream in which we did go to Australia. John Barrowman had joined the troupe, so people actually came to see us. Then a bunch of people got murdered and we were the primary suspects. We were locked in a tower, which was surrounded by bananas they intended to set on fire to immolate us. You guys have some weird traditions in Australia.
But really we probably won’t make it there because it would be crazy expensive. We won’t even go to Canada, and we live in Michigan. (As an individual, I will go to Canada, but not Australia because it is expensive and I really hate airplanes.)

Ten shots?  How did that go down:
"Hey officers! over here! I need help!"
"Holy shit, there's a big black man heading right for us!"
*blam*blam*blam*
"Did I get him?"
"Eh, he's still moving a little."
*blam*blam*blam*
"Hows that?"
"hmm, I think he twitched"
*blam*blam*blam*
"I...Just...Needed...Help...With...Car."
"Shit, we just shot an innocent man!  We're gonna get sued!"
*blam*
"Dead men don't sue."
Unarmed former football player Jonathan Ferrell was shot ten times while seeking help from a car crash. But the officer who shot him won’t face manslaughter charges.
Bull. Shit. Once again, a cop gets away with murder.

The essence of this article is "Why the hell do all these completely alien species have females with big tits?  Some of theme aren't even mammals!"
That doesn't go far enough.  Large breasts aren't large because of the mammary glands, they're large because of fat.  It's pure sexual display not present in other mammal species, not even very closely related species like chimps.
The chance of another species independently evolving the same sexual display is close to zero, and has nothing to do with whether or not they're mammals.
Wildstar, Character Design, Female Objectification, Sexual Dimorphism and Biology in Video Games
We need to talk about the character designs in Wildstar.
We need to talk about the character designs in all science fiction and fantasy franchises that feature non-humans.
Wildstar is a science-fiction MMO currently in beta, developed by Carbine Studios. The general thrust of Wildstar is something along the lines of Firefly, Star Wars, and Ratchet & Clank; not exactly a grimdark sci-fi thriller. The mechanical features look interesting and the art style, in and of itself, is really vivid—but what they’re doing within the style?
Well.
The NDA dropped on a bunch of Wildstar content and character creation videos are up. You can watch them all, but here I’m just going to focus on the Granok, Draken, and Mechari.

"Entrepreneurs are already capitalizing on the data-privacy trend."
Well, as long as different set of people are getting rich, I guess that's okay #sarcasm
Tumblr media
Advertisers and third-party trackers have created a multibillion-dollar business by harvesting info from search engines and mobile apps, but none of that money goes to the owners of the identities being tracked. That could change in the wake of revelations about NSA surveillance and a growing awareness of data-privacy issues. Entrepreneurs are already capitalizing on the data-privacy trend.

No. Wrong. Bad.
They have <head> surrounding a headless body.  That’s almost exactly backwards.
Strong is okay, I guess.  I’d rather see something that showed it was more important, like showing the tag make someone stand out in a crowd.
<i> no longer strictly means italic.  It sets apart “special” text with no specific semantic meaning.  While leaning guy shows what it looks like, it won’t help teach people when to use it.
<center> was deprecated years ago, and technically doesn’t even exist in html 5.  Even worse, the floaty dude sort of implies a vertical-align:middle, and keeping middle sorted from center is one of those little nuances noobs often miss.
Tumblr media
After countless iterations the NYT has finally discovered the most effective way to teach HTML to the youth of America.

What would happen if false accusations of rape became common?  Men would have to start protecting themselves from those accusations.  What would that look like?
One thing men would have to do is maintain alibis.  That means, for example, not putting yourself in a situation where you're alone with a women unless you know can trust her.
Another thing men would have to do is maintain a "good" reputation in the sense of not being seen to be "looking for it."
Is that starting to look familiar?  Let me spell it out.  The worst case scenario if false accusations of rape become common is that men have to start taking rape-related precautions similar to what women have had to do for generations.
Deal with it.

Instead of killing them, how about we just launch an automatic combined IRS audit / DOJ probe / Grand Jury investigation.  And make them cover the costs.

As much as I hate misogyny, MRA, and dudebros, I am not letting AXE access my facebook profile and friends list so I can vote in this.  AXE.  You know, that company that uses blatant sexism to sell aerosolized douchiness to the sort of people who are voting against this woman?

Ad revenue.  Tumblr needs to become palatable to advertisers, which means not offending the usual gang of uptight, homophobic idiots.
Tumblr users have always had the option of marking their account as NSFW, and since around 10% of Tumblr is porn, people were generally pretty good at labelling their blogs.
However, under Tumblr’s new content restrictions, posts from Adult-rated blogs will no longer show up on tags. Any tags. Also, Tumblr is able to flag your account as Adult without you labelling it as such—although users do have the option of appealing to the “Trust & Safety Team” if their feel their blog has been flagged unfairly.
Adult blogs are now unsearchable.
If your blog has been flagged as Adult, nothing you post will ever appear on Tumblr’s public tag searches. Your posts will only be visible to your own followers and the followers of people who reblog your content.
This means that if you want to publicize something like a Kickstarter campaign or political message, or even to signal boost a personal plea for help, that post will still not show up on Tumblr’s internal search engine. You are cut off from everyone except your own circle of followers.
Also, Many Tumblr users are finding that some tags have disappeared entirely from Tumblr’s iPhone app.
It’s unclear whether this is directly linked to the new content restrictions, but for example, iPhone users searching the #gay, #lesbian or #bisexual tags have reported seeing the result “No posts found,” although #bi, #lgbt and #queer still produce results. [READ MORE]

It makes me sad that so many of the big names in atheism are misogynistic.  It's just a good thing we don't see our "leaders" as infallible founts of revealed truth.
“If I could wave a magic wand and get rid of either rape or religion, Harris explains, I would not hesitate to get rid of religion."
“there’s nothing more natural than rape. Human beings rape, chimpanzees rape, orangutans rape, rape clearly is part of an evolutionary...
