Where do I begin?
Hello again! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜Š
I've been a food maniac for years. Ask anyone who follows me on snapchat and they can attest: Whenever something new pops up, or there's a deal going on, I'm the one to let them know.
Last year, on National French Fry Day, I made sure everyone around me knew that McDonalds was giving away free fries on their app.
Oh yeah, that's another thing. I have like every food app ๐Ÿ˜‚ A lot of times you can score some pretty good deals just by downloading them. For instance, I just added Zaxby's to my phone and they sent me a coupon for a free meal ๐ŸŽ‰
But that's a tangent.
I really want to talk about new places to eat. As in new restaurants.
Like say, Petro's, over in Freedom Town Center (behind Jason's Deli). They've been open for about a year now, and yet, I think a lot of people still don't know about them. In fact, that whole Plaza has a lot of good spots to eat. Mezeh, Salsarita's, and Maple Street Biscuit Company, just to name a few.
Now, I know these are all chain restaurants and they're far from being "hidden" gems, but they may still be gems all the same. Plus, since that whole area is less than three years old, I'd say they're all still pretty new.
(okay WOW actually I just looked it up and that plaza has already been standing for five years ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ Where has the time gone?! I'm still claiming them as new-ish because a lot of those places opened up within the past three years ๐Ÿ˜Œ)
Again, when I say I'm a "maniac" I mean I was at both Petro's and Mezeh for their grand openings. I ate at CAVA (next to the Cross Creek mall where Zoe's used to be) two days before it opened to the public, I visited Miyabi's Jr's grand opening on Cliffdale (it opened this past week!), and when that Asian fusion on Skibo Rd opens up, you can bet I'll be in there like swimwear.
Over the next few posts, I want to tell you about some of these places.

What are you hungry for?
Welcome to the beginning.
First and foremost, if you never know where or what you want to eat, then you've come to the right place!
Hi! I'm your Fayetteville, NC Restaurant Explorer and I'm here to tell you everything I know about where to eat around town (and occasionally out of town).
I've lived in this city since 2007 and in all of this time I've eaten just about everywhere. From Sports Bars to Mom N Pops to Holes-In-The-Walls. I'm not a picky eater and I go out waaayyyy too much lol!
I love food! I love the way it tastes and smells, I love the textures and the colors, and I love finding new favorites. Whenever I spot a place I haven't been to, I make it my mission to try it at least once. And if it's a hit, I make sure to tell my friends and family all about it.
But you know what?
I want to tell more people. I want to tell everyone!
There are a lot of exciting flavors and fun atmospheres just waiting to be talked about.
So join me, and let me tell you everything!
Hopefully you'll find some new favorites ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿฝ
