The Witches, by Roald Dahl is the story of a race of evil, hook nosed, wigged women who all gather together to plot the murder of the world's children by poison. It's the Protocols of the Elders of Zion for children, and I have never seen a seen another person bring up how absolutely thick with antisemitism this book is, even though it was written by ardent antisemite, who said that the Jews brought the Holocaust on ourselves. So why is this book getting a new adaptation starring Anne Hathaway?
