Part II

Young Yummi accidentally breaks something precious to Leo, and instead of coming clean about it, she takes a note from her old man book, and lies about it instead, wrapping Casey j into this mess and together they try to fix it before Leo notices, creating a web of lies non of them can handle but do it anyway for the greater good-

Little do they know, the old man himself aware of their shenanigans and just enjoys the shit show that is about to go down-

And you know- if a Hamato is involved- nothing is gonna be easy to solve.

A call back to the episode “flushed but never forgotten” uwu

She’s going missing for 6 months before reappearing - (a little bit before the comic “sword fight!”)

It’s an arc I always wanted to explore but idk if I’m gonna stay in the fandom for very long to do so-

Eugh boy... okay so i decided to finally give this a final touch so now i consider it done. I would just post it like it's nothing but no let me just explain.. it's been a year since i started on this painting and it has gone through changes but essentially, it all revolves around this poor Leo who is trying to get help to fix his dimensional portal so i kinda went and thought "hey wouldnt it be funny if-" so yeah there is uh... no actual reason to it except drawing my friends Dons, then it uhuh expanded.... Hm yeah, a year huh? The whole piece has various stages of me learning different approaches to painting because i had hard time figuring out what i wanted, i think I'm coming close to my answer

Leosagi has been leaving rent free in my mind, what’s the cutest moment of them in your au? Or the moment when one of them are like “oh shit I’m in love with this idiot”?

Usagi’s “I’m in love with this idiot” moment is when the two travel to Japan and find out that Usagi’s village has been rebuilt. They get swarmed with cute kids and Leo is so soft with them.

Usagi has witnessed all the subtle changes in Leo over the months, since he’s been reunited with his family. Then even more drastically after his recovery from the Shredder!Leo arc…but a something just slams into Usagi in this very moment. He can easily identify the emotion as affection, but the events of the movie happen to interrupt any further thoughts on the matter.

Leo on the other hand, has been feeling something for Usagi (starting while Usagi was helping with Leo’s recovery from the Armor). BUT he’s being very emotionally constipated with the realization. Leo won’t really clock the feeling as love until after the movie. So they kinda confess at the same time. Usagi starts the conversation, and Leo finishes it, by asking Usagi out on a date. A few weeks later they have that previously shown kiss during a fight with the Foot.

This scene from the lion king never fails to sting my heart and make me tear up till the eventual tragedy, and yet this moment is so important and sweet - I knew I’ll eventually draw it with my favorite father daughter pair Leo and Yummi <3
